RUN. This Firm Didn’t Just Fail Me — They Exploited Me.
This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a professional service. I left this firm emotionally drained, financially wrecked, and legally unsupported. Do NOT make the mistake I did.
My nightmare began with attorney Jennifer, who at fir...st seemed competent. Then the firm scheduled a three-way call between her, Andrew Flores, and me — their idea, not mine — to “help” me choose who should handle my case. It was pitched as supportive. Instead, they both billed me for the same call. I paid double for a conversation they initiated.
Soon after, I was told Jennifer was “going on vacation” and Andrew would be taking over — without my consent or a real handoff. From there, everything collapsed. Andrew was passive, unprepared, and ineffective. I watched the opposing attorney fight harder for their client than mine ever did for me.
Andrew was so unprepared that he accidentally gave sensitive paperwork to the opposing side, then had to chase them down to retrieve it. He charged me for lodging exhibits that were never entered into the record, leaving me with almost nothing to appeal with.
He never made a closing argument, barely objected to anything, and stood by while the opposing side got my private records through questionable means. It felt like I had a warm body next to me pretending to be a lawyer — and I had spent thousands for that “representation.”
The result? I lost my case with prejudice. That’s permanent. The judge’s message was clear: the case was presented so poorly it didn’t deserve another chance.
Then the financial spiral. I was told verbally the case “wouldn’t go over a certain amount,” even though they bill hourly. That was false. Invoices were vague, and I saw what looked like duplicated charges — work Jennifer did re-billed by Andrew.
One time, during a phone call with Jennifer, she dragged out the conversation after it was clearly over, apparently to increase billable hours. That felt manipulative and part of a pattern.
You’re required to prepay thousands into a trust account, with promises unused funds will be refunded. That’s a lie. They bill for every email, every phone call, every calendar question — until it’s gone.
Then the final blow: they sent my trust account nearly $3,000 into the negative without my knowledge or consent. I was suddenly told I owed money I never approved and had to pay immediately or they would drop me mid-case. I felt cornered and manipulated. When I pushed back and mentioned a bar complaint, they stayed on — but in my opinion, their effort dropped sharply. Andrew put in minimal effort, ignored requests to file helpful paperwork, and in my view deliberately failed to admit key exhibits. It felt like once they couldn’t keep milking me, they were coasting along to avoid a bar complaint for dropping a client, instead of actually fighting for me. They essentially threw my case.
Adding insult to injury, I recognized names from their office staff appearing to post glowing 5-star reviews online. If that’s true, it’s deceptive and unethical. People deserve the truth.
