Jessica Mackaness is a partner at Mackaness & Ideta, LLP in San Diego, CA. Her practice focuses on business, financial fraud, and employment litigation. Early in her career, Jessica gained valuable experience working as an associate attorney at several large international law firms, including Luce Forward and Sheppard Mullin. There, her practice focused on insurance litigation, class action defense, and general business litigation.
In 2018, Jessica and her partner Erik Ideta founded the law firm Mackaness & Ideta, LLP with the goal of providing quality, transparent legal representation without the expense and bureaucracy of a traditional, large law firm.
Jessica graduated magna cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2010, and is a member of Mensa International.
