After taking a medication I was prescribed for 3.5 years, that I was only supposed to be on for 12 weeks, I was diagnosed with a neural muscular disorder called Tardive Dyskinesia. They even told me about a new medication that was just approved for Tardive Dyskinesia that my doctor didn't know about. I would drop into the firm from time to time without an appointment to follow up on my case, and Elizabeth Banham (Betsy) would always greet me with a hug, and would take the time to discuss the case with me. She drove with me up to Las Angles to see one of the top neurologist in the field. She also flew to San Francisco on the firms dine to depose a witness. When we went to the settlement conferences, two of the partners of the firm, Elizabeth Banham, and Brian Finley, went with me for representation. We settled out of court, and I was very pleased with the results. I would strongly recommend the firm of Mulligan, Banham & Finley to anyone that is looking for a medical malpractice attorney. They truly care about people and not just the money that many other firms were so concerned about, in case they lost. They stuck out their neck for me and it payed off in the end.

Previous reviewers have complained that Attorney Elizabeth Banham did not take their cases. These critics are uninformed. The ABA Rules of Professional Conduct (Rule 1.16) indicate that a lawyer shall not represent a client if the representation will result in violation of the rules of professional ...conduct or other law. Rule 7.1 indicates a lawyer shall not make a false or misleading communication about the lawyer's services. A lawyer who indicates that a case has merit when merit does not exist, would be making a false or misleading statement. Accordingly, a lawyer making such a statement would be violating the rules of conduct. Rather than violate the rules of conduct, Elizabeth Banham has no choice but to decline cases without possibility for a reasonable plaintiff's outcome. Our case had merit and Elizabeth Banham handled it from beginning to satisfactory outcome competently and professionally.
