Biography
Ms. Eisenstein has been a criminal defense attorney since joining the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office in 1993. In 2006, Ms. Eisenstein left public employment to start her own firm, focusing solely on criminal defense.
Ms. Eisenstein has 22 years of experience working with Judges, prosecutors, the probation department and other defense lawyers in the San Diego County Court system.
Ms. Eisenstein represents clients charged with offenses ranging from minor traffic infractions to serious felony charges. She has aggressively and effectively represented thousands of people charged with criminal offenses. She has been successful in convincing the District Attorney’s office to not file charges against her clients, getting cases dismissed, obtaining lesser charges and reduced time in prison and jail, winning jury trials, convincing Judges to dismiss cases due to violation of her client’s constitutional rights, keeping people out of jail when in violation of probation, and expunging criminal records.
Ms. Eisenstein is an excellent, well-liked, effective, aggressive criminal defense attorney who is not afraid to do all that is necessary to fight for her client’s rights and freedom.
