Joni is an outstanding defense lawyer. I was arrested on trumped up charges for a DUI, but unfortunately for me there was not a lot lot of evidence to back up my side of the story. Joni knows every angle to approach a case from and successfully reduced it to a traffic violation. I thought my life was... over, but Joni saved me. A TRO was filed, full of heinous, false accusations against me. Joni took my case and was responsive in her communications. Like the others on here have said, it's evident she really cares about her clients. She's also surprisingly funny! On the day of the hearing, she cross examined the opposi...ng party effectively, bringing all the holes in logic and truth to light. She also effectively objected to the torrent of lies spewing forth from the other side. At one point this person tried to involve my ex spouse, who was, by the judge's own words, "very motivated" to play along with the lies. The TRO was dismissed, along with the specter of criminal charges. Regardless of the outlandish claims made against me, Joni effectively handled them all. Definite recommend.
