As a former client (as of July 2025), I feel it's important to share my experience working with Lisa as a client. Unfortunately, my interactions with her left me deeply disappointed and uneasy. During our phone conversations, I often felt belittled and disrespected. I was left feeling extremely un...comfortable to ask even basic questions about my case, which I had retained her to handle with her belittling me, yelling, screaming and shouting at me. From my perspective, the tone and conduct I experienced were not what I expected from a legal professional. I felt there was a lack of communication and support throughout the process. During the hearing for my case, I was caught completely off guard by a decision she made regarding attorney's fees. She chose during the hearing not to pursue it when asked by the judge. I was not informed of this in advance and did not consent to it. I believed I had final say in decisions affecting my case, and this experience made me feel sidelined as a client. One of the reasons I retained her was her indication that she would pursue attorney's fees on my behalf if the order was granted. After the hearing, I was told I would have to hire her again or pursue it alone. This left me feeling misled and unsupported. Based on my experience, I did not feel I received the level of care, professionalism, or advocacy I had expected--especially given the fees charged. If you're considering retaining this attorney, I would highly advise against it based on the above. Let this be the warning I wish someone else had posted before I made my mistake here.

From the date of my arrest to my sentencing in court, Lisa and her team were able to get my case as a wet n wreckless in less than 4 months!!! I owe it all to her team and Ed Talik! I ultimately felt like I had hit rock bottom, that this potential DUI was going to be like wearing the scarlet lette...r for years to come. I thought I wouldn’t be able to look forward to having a successful future and that this would set me back. Because this was my first DUI and being in trouble with the law, I wasn’t sure if I even needed an attorney, nor did I think I could afford to drop the money for it. I spent a few days trying to do my own research on reddit and finally started calling around. I spoke to 2 offices before speaking to Lisa’s office. Ed Talik, the attorney who works with Lisa, consulted with me over the phone. He highly suggested I hire an attorney, even if it wasnt with their office, I would have a chance at a lower sentencing and to get the DMV hearing. He took the time to answer all my questions. He assured me Lisa was the best at her job and specialized with DUI cases, ect. What led me to choosing Lisa’s office was their experience. Ed himself also has one hell of an impressive background, highly qualified with years of working in the field as a Chief of police and DA. I felt confident in their team to help me with my case and I’m so glad I went with them. They gathered all the necessary reports, discovery packet, including dash cam footage and looked into the breathalyzer machine at the CHP office to make sure it was functioning correctly. They advised me to gather a mitigation packet for court. I was able to sit down with Lisa and meet with her a week before my pretrial court date. It resulted in a wet reckless that Ed Talik was miraculously able to do! I can tell that he truthfully enjoys the work that he does and I feel so thankful for that !
