As a former client (as of July 2025), I feel it's important to share my experience working with Lisa as a client. Unfortunately, my interactions with her left me deeply disappointed and uneasy. During our phone conversations, I often felt belittled and disrespected. I was left feeling extremely un...comfortable to ask even basic questions about my case, which I had retained her to handle with her belittling me, yelling, screaming and shouting at me. From my perspective, the tone and conduct I experienced were not what I expected from a legal professional. I felt there was a lack of communication and support throughout the process. During the hearing for my case, I was caught completely off guard by a decision she made regarding attorney's fees. She chose during the hearing not to pursue it when asked by the judge. I was not informed of this in advance and did not consent to it. I believed I had final say in decisions affecting my case, and this experience made me feel sidelined as a client. One of the reasons I retained her was her indication that she would pursue attorney's fees on my behalf if the order was granted. After the hearing, I was told I would have to hire her again or pursue it alone. This left me feeling misled and unsupported. Based on my experience, I did not feel I received the level of care, professionalism, or advocacy I had expected--especially given the fees charged. If you're considering retaining this attorney, I would highly advise against it based on the above. Let this be the warning I wish someone else had posted before I made my mistake here.

I hired Lisa to replace my previous attorney, whom I was not happy with. He was not responsive to my text messages and calls. This created a huge stress for me, and I felt like I was left in the dark alone. I could not sleep at all! When I called Lisa if she would accept my existing case handled by a... different attorney, she was close to not accepting my case because it was pretty much towards the end of the pretrial phase, and the previous attorney had made a mess on my case. Lisa had to clean everything up that the other attorney made. My previous attorney also did not provide sufficient details about my case to her. Thankfully, she accepted it. I did not have any interaction issues with Lisa. Her and her team were responsive and kept me up-to-date with the case. My previous attorney couldn't get the DA to remove the misdemeanor DV charge. I hired Lisa, and she worked her magic to get the misdemeanor removed and got the DA to offer me the informal diversion program just today! I want to thank you Lisa so much that now I can sleep in peace without the case lingering in my mind when I sleep. I have to say I do agree what others say about her yelling, but let me tell you this, you want an attorney that is reliable and is aggressive. Lisa has it all! Dont be a fool like me hiring the wrong attorney, only to find out at the end that you wasted a good chunk of money for no result. I am so happy and fortunate to have found Lisa through Yelp, and that she accepted my case which she did not have to. You will not regret having Lisa to represent you. Thank you LISA!!!
