Jeff William Leblanc

Sometime ago I contracted with a California company to provide service to my Oregon business. After having paid them for service and never receiving it in the end I filed a lawsuit against them in Oregon and was awarded a Judgment. Needing to have this registered in California a friend in the area re...commended the law firm of Anderson LeBlanc to me. I worked with Jeff LeBlanc and he promptly had the Judgment registered in California. The defendants then tried to have my Judgment vacated and used a “shotgun” approach to what they submitted to the Court, claiming I had committed fraud, statutes of limitations had expired, Oregon had no jurisdiction, service was improper, I had never asked for a refund, and much more. They also threatened action against myself and Jeff. To counter this barrage of claims Jeff invested substantial time and effort into a comprehensive response. The Court ruled in our favor, stating that he had provided “compelling” arguments why the Judgment should not be vacated. I would just like to say that Jeff LeBlanc is a man that gets things done. I had found myself in a unique situation because of a car that I had purchased. I was owed a decent sum of money from a motel at which I had done some work. The owner wanted to pay me with a credit card which was never discuss...ed and I was not set up to accept. The money I was going to receive from the motel was going towards a car that I was buying and combined with the money I had, would pay it in full. I asked the owner of the motel if he would pay the dealership with his card and asked the dealer if that would be acceptable. They both said yes and it was handled. The car blew the head gasket 6 weeks later. I was left with a very expensive repair and my savings were drained. The warranty was only 30 days and though I wasn't happy about it, that was what the contract stated so I did what I could afford. I researched it and rebuilt it myself. It was a high end German car with a very intricate motor but I had never worked on any motor in depth, so I didn't know the difference. I just did it. As I could afford the parts, I would work on it but it sat for months and I kept at it. During this time, the motel owner decided to do a chargeback on his credit card. He was happy with my work and blamed his bookkeeper for the incident. He promised that he was going to pay but never did. He wrote a letter stating these facts, which I brought it to the dealership since they now wanted the car back with no refunding of anything I had given them or spent on parts to attempt to fix the car. As time went on, I thought it had been worked out since I hadn't heard anything after that. I continued my rebuild on the motor. Finally, after 10 months, my car was running and I was elated. I enjoyed it for 2 weeks and then the unimaginable happened. I went for a drive one morning in a friend's car and when we returned 30 minutes later, my car was being towed away by a repo truck. The driver informed me that the dealership sent him for non payment and drove off with my car. I called the dealer and he informed me that the car was going to be sold at auction in 30 days unless I paid what had been charged back plus impound fees. I felt like it was hopeless. As time was running out, I stumbled on AVVO and posted my situation. Jeff LeBlanc responded and asked me to come in for a consultation so I could give him more details. I met with him the following day.At the end of my consultation meeting, he explained how he was going to handle my case, if I chose to retain his services. His confidence in my case was refreshing since I felt powerless against the dealership. He made it affordable or me to hire him and I did. He then followed through with his plan. There was no procrastination or lack of contact. He answered my calls when I needed to reach him and he never left me hanging or wondering about anything. I will say that he came across as an extremely likable person, very easy going and relaxed, but he did something to shake up the other side because their first settlement offer was 50% higher than I even dreamed the final outcome would be. I didn't have to go back and forth about the terms. It was handled quickly and professionally. I think Mr LeBlanc everything I could ask for in an attorney. He does what he says and is reasonable with his fees. Thank you Jeff and Tracy (his assistant). She was very helpful as well. He took a stand when I really needed help and did it with a sense of making things right. My case, which was probably small in comparison to others, was handled with the same importance as i would expect a larger case to be. He is 5 stars across the board for me.
