I truly like my job, my clients and the practice of law. I have years of civil litigation experience including complex litigation, discovery, depositions, use of expert witnesses and trial, having practiced almost exclusively as a medical malpractice defense attorney right out of law school. This experience has afforded me a general civil litigation skill-set and foundational understanding of the law that is invaluable with respect to my current practice areas such as divorce and family law.

Not all legal matters, or even most, end up in trial. But it’s always best to begin the process with an eye toward trial. It helps you to prepare your case for the absolute best settlement posture, which is in everyone’s best interests. And if you do end up at trial, you’re ready for that as well.

In addition to being an attorney, I am a mom and a former professor of law. While I consider my three kids to be my greatest accomplishments, I am also very proud of my students, some of whom I see in court. Being a mother, I have a very child-focused approach to family law matters and I take my responsibility toward children personally.

I came to the practice of law a little bit later in life, after having other jobs (including being a medic for 10 years) which is how I know that law is absolutely the right occupation for me. I have met many burned-out attorneys who hate what they do. I love my work. I feel passionate about the practice of law and I take my responsibility to my clients seriously. In my career, I have had the unique opportunity to practice in many areas of law, as well as exposure to interesting legal problems and the privilege of solving them for clients from all walks of life.

I bring a "problem solving" attitude to each new case, and I am pleased to say that I have helped many fine people settle matters rather than litigate. Being inquisitive, I tend to look more deeply into an issue and for that reason, I have experienced much success with legal problem solving and I look forward to each new legal challenge, and to helping each new client.

A Difficult Divorce Case - Superb Representation

No one ever wants to go to court or hire an attorney. Unfortunately, I found myself facing divorce after a 27-year marriage and needed to find an attorney that was fair, strong, professional, and most importantly, compassionately human. I found this in Rebekah Ryan Main. Right from our initial c...onsultation, I knew Ms. Main was the right attorney for me. She listened attentively, asked good questions, and really made me feel at ease. I didn't want someone who was egotistical or vengeful. I needed someone that would immerse themselves in my particular situation and case, and diligently follow through. Not to mention someone that exhibits extreme intelligence, knowledge, and experience. Throughout the process, I was always kept updated and informed about the proceedings and what to expect next. I found Ms. Main and her capable staff to be readily accessible and responsive to any of my needs and inquiries. Her administrative and professional staff demonstrated the upmost professionalism and courtesy. My particular case seemed to have many twists and unexpected issues and roadblocks thrown our way. Ms. Main navigated very intelligently through these areas. I was very confident in her, and completely trusted and understood her advice. She explained things to me, and was patient while I thought things over and would always respect my wishes and decisions, the direction we ultimate would take on issues. Another area I was quite impressed with was preparation, and the way Ms. Main would handle herself in depositions, with other attorneys, and in court in front of the judge. She acts and speaks with experience, confidence, and with authority. She sites court cases with precedence, and knows how to formulate an argument to drive points home. In addition, she is an excellent writer and formulates stellar correspondences. Although my case became much more involved and drawn out than I would have ever expected, I was relieved and so thankful to have Ms. Main as my representative and advocate. I truly enjoyed working with her, and was quite pleased with the resolution and outcome. Ms. Main’s fees and billings were also extremely fair, and I’m quite pleased with the cost/benefit that I experienced. I would highly recommend Rebekah Ryan Main to anyone seeking one of the most top-notched attorneys in Riverside or San Bernardino counties.

She is worth double her weight in gold

I'd rather get put through a meat grinder than go through a custody battle again. It was scary, stressful and worst of all hard on my kids. I walked in to Ms. Main's office ready to give up. All I wanted from Ms. Main was to make sure I didn't get completely screwed while surrendering to my ex's dema...nds. She was the third lawyer I consulted about my case. She was the ONLY lawyer who made me feel like she actually cared about my kids and their circumstance. She never promised me anything, but her strategy resulted in exactly what I wanted and more importantly, what was in the best interest of my kids. She is worth double her weight in gold. (I say double because she is on the petite side:) Her staff are professional and thorough. I will be forever grateful for her and the impact her representation had on my kids’ lives.

Very Happy to Recommend Attorney Main

Attorney Main represented us in litigation against our Homebuilder. The previous law firm charged us for initiating the case, then shifted us from one partner to another partner, failed to adequately represent our best interest and then recommended us to another firm because he was retiring. We recei...ved a favorable settlement when Attorney Main took on the case. We retained Attorney Main for another case. The firm was padding the fees, and basically justifying their unethical charges as, "that's business". When she made the decision to start her own firm, we retained her services. We were not over billed and reached a good settlement. Attorney Main developed her ethics prior to becoming an attorney. She bills for work she actually does. She researches anything she needs to know in order to present the best possible case for her clients. When she appears for trial, she has tied up every loose end and is prepared to win. She has worked for Judges and knows what they expect from attorneys. That gives her an added advantage. The opposing attorney, more experienced, remarked at the end of our case how smart he thought Attorney Main is and that he wanted her on his side. Attorney Main has represented us in two separate civil suits and I would not hesitate to recommend her services.

Rebekah Main is a fantastic attorney

Rebekah Ryan Main is THE BEST divorce attorney. Full stop. I’d give this woman 20 stars if I could. She is literally Wonder Woman in the courtroom and can handle anything thrown her way. She’s also secretly Mel Robbins in disguise as a divorce attorney, as she always provides motivation and compassio...n toward her clients. A little backstory about me: I felt I had one of the most complicated divorces. Prior to meeting Rebekah, I was about six months into the divorce process. It was a contentious divorce from the beginning, with custody issues, restraining order trials, and I was in the middle of an in-progress trial. I was in search of a new attorney, calling around, and no one would take my case. I Googled a million attorneys and asked for the best divorce lawyer. Surprisingly, a lot of attorneys had referred me to the opposing counsel my ex had already retained. They were calling him the Superman of the courtroom, the most difficult lawyer in San Bernardino, etc. In my search, I’m not sure if it was an act of God, but Rebekah bravely told me she would take on my case. She told me from the beginning that she does minor’s counsel, and her approach is kid-centered and kid-focused. I was scared and hesitant initially as a father of 4 in my divorce attorney search. I’ve heard negative stigmas about males getting a female divorce attorney. When I overheard, “Why would you take this case, Rebekah? He’s not a typical Rebekah client,” I knew I had found the right attorney because Rebekah Main is opposing counsel’s kryptonite. Throughout my case, the opposing counsel was an exceptional attorney in his own regard, but Rebekah is in a completely different playing field. Rebekah has broken all stigmas I had and is a fantastic attorney. She can go toe to toe with the best attorneys. I can say initially there was a learning curve to get to know one another, but once we did, she has done everything and more. Rebekah is calm, cool, and collected always, and has taught me the importance of mastering patience. She is knowledgeable about ALL aspects of family law. Throughout my case, there was a time where I gave her 1,600 pages of text messages, and she knew them like the back of her hand to use in trial. Rebekah’s legal staff is amazing as well. I can’t say enough about Hannah, Atziri, and Nicole (sorry if I’m leaving anyone out). Her staff is always friendly and professional. There was a time specifically where Hannah and Atziri hand-transcribed 400 pages’ worth of videos needed for my case. Thank you to all who’ve worked on my case and for the help, life advice, and words of encouragement you all have given me throughout a very difficult time in my life. To Rebekah, thank you for fighting for me to be a father to my kids. I have definitely learned so much from you. I am still in the divorce process and using her as my attorney, and I just want to thank her for all she’s done for my family. As a father of three young girls, I truly hope my daughters can grow up to be half the woman Rebekah Main is.
