I have practiced exclusively in the areas of bankruptcy, insolvency, and consumer protection for my entire career. I formerly worked for the largest consumer bankruptcy law firm in San Diego and I have personally handled hundreds of bankruptcy cases. From the simplest cases to complex business cases, I have handled it all. Bankruptcy, though, is not the solution for every problem. Took great care of me!

After receiving several threatening letters from too many creditors, I sought the help of Mr. Bodie for my bankruptcy case. He not only made me feel better about taking this step to help with my debt issues, but he also kept me well informed and at ease about my case. I recommend him to anyone who's considering filing for bankruptcy.

Did a great job and saved me money

I went to see Brett after visiting another attorney wanted a LOT for my bankruptcy case. I though I was being taken for my money because I have an easy case. I met with Brett and he seemed to more knowledgeable than the first guy and his fee was less than what the other attorney was going to charge me. Everything went great, my case is over, I'm glad I found him.

Bankruptcy changed my life. Could not have done it with such a smart and helpful attorney.

I went to see Brett and I had been without a job for over a year and my bills were going unpaid and my credit was ruined. I am so glad I met with him and he changed my life. I knew nothing about bankruptcy and he taught me everything and gave me all the potential options. He definitely knows his stuff and obviously enjoys helping people get their life back on track. He was always quick to respond to any of my questions and I appreciated him setting up a payment plan for me. Bankruptcy was so easy and stress free. Thanks Brett!

Upon stepping in his office, I knew Brett was going to be able to help me. He never once made me feel uneasy about filing bankruptcy. My case was more complicated than most and he handled it well. He was easy to talk to and helped me understand the entire process. My wife could not make it to the consultation so he reexplained everything over the phone to her without blinking an eye. We are so glad that we went with Brett and so appreciative of his work, sincerity and support during through everything.

Great attorney! He helped me get back on my feet and made the process so easy!

Brett was recommended to me by a coworker when I told her I was thinking about filing bankruptcy. Brett is so personable, answered all my questions and made me realize that bankruptcy was my best option. Thank You!! Everything went great

Nobody wants to be filing bankruptcy. Brett made it painless! He never made us feel bad for considering bankruptcy and worked with us to make us feel comfortable. We never felt forced into it - he just gave us all the information and was willing to answer every question we had (which was a lot!). Our case went smoothly and now it's all behind us. Thank You!!

Very Intelligent and Affordable Lawyer with Obvious Extensive Experience - Impressed!

Mr. Bodie handled my bankruptcy as if it were his own. I was a bit anxious with my debt situation and didn't exactly know where to turn, but when I found Mr. Bodie by a referral of another lawyer, he basically took over the situation and made me feel at ease. Mr. Bodie gave me no sales pitch, he simply explained my options in a calm way and intelligently advised me on the best course of action. Brett was extremely knowledge about Chapter 7 bankruptcy and I was impressed by his great reputation with the trustees. I soon stopped receiving those calls from creditors, thankfully. I finally feel like I can breathe again and that my financial situation is on track and in the right hands.

Great Lawyer, he really helped me!

I found Brett through a friend of mine who referred me. I had credit cards I hadn't been able to pay in a while and they garnished me. I had no idea how I was going to make it without the money they were taking. I called Brett and he made the whole thing easy and he never made me feel bad for filing bankruptcy. The garnishment stopped, he was able to get back some of the funds and he worked with me on a payment plan. Thank you Brett!
