I can't say how thankful I was to have found an attorney like Ms. Anita Patel to assist me in my time of need. I contacted Anita a few weeks ago for help with resolving a bench warrant that had been issued for a failure to appear on a traffic fine. She was very up front about telling me what I needed to do and what I needed to bring with me to court to get the best possible resolution of my warrant. Obviou...sly, she has seen many cases similar to mine - because it worked like a charm! Even though I had missed the deadline to pay off my citation by about 8 months and was issued a bench warrant with a $5,000 bail, my court appearance was quick and painless. I basically got off scot-free, all I had to do was pay the original fine plus a $25 processing fee. I'd say from the time I appeared before the judge, we were in and out of the courthouse in roughly 20 minutes, and 15 - 16 of those minutes were spent waiting for the paperwork to make it's way from the courtroom to the clerk's office so I could resolve my fine. My son carelessly left some self-defense weapons in his carry-on luggage going through airport security at LAX on the way back home to San Francisco, and received a misdemeanor citation to appear in Superior Court in LA later in the month.
