Anita P Patel

My court date was on 4/19/2017 and i am very happy with the outcome so writing this review and my experience with Anita Patel.I would highly recommend Anita Patel for her legal knowledge and experience,she is also a nice person and very understanding. Anita Patel was very professional and knowledge...able.Being a first time offender, i was extremely scared ,worried and stressed out. I was going though a very tough time having Family health issues and also this misdemeanor charge. I am also the only working person in my family.Anita put me at ease and got better results than i had hoped for.Before i decided to go with Anita i had searched online and spoke with around 8 different lawyers before i spoke with Anita. Based on what other lawyers told me i was looking for jail tern for at least 2 days, community service ,vehical being taken away.But i did not get any of this.I was very happy with the outcome . I called Anita the first time on a sunday and Anita answered the call.I explained the whole situation to her.After the first phone conversation i knew that i had to go with Anita .She took time to meet me in person the following day . Anita answered all my questions,kept me informed ,kept me calm,reminded me 2 days before the actual court date to be there before 8:30 am.On the court date Anita was already there at the court house waiting for me at 8:20 am . I was very pleased with the way that I was treated from the very beginning by Anita. When I first called to discuss my case I think I spent 45 minutes on the phone with her. I was impressed by her willingness to listen and spend a lot of time before we had even discussed contracts and fees. I was ...charged with a misdemeanor hit and run and was very worried about this affecting my work and future career. The case dragged on for over a year and in the end she was able to earn a dismissal of the case. Even more impressive, on the final day of my case she was involved in an accident herself and was not able to drive her car. She had her husband drive her to the courthouse and performed what I thought was a miracle in getting the case dismissed. Very impressive!

It is exceptionally hard to find a lawyer who is not only nice, polite, caring and pleasant but also competent and performs miracles. That is Anita. Before I hired Anita I read all the reviews, I said to myself there is something wrong, this is too good to be true, one person can't have all these 100...% excellent reviews. Well, fortunately I was wrong, now I believe all these reviews because I am writing one and sharing my experience with others. Anita she didn't only went the extra mile for us, she went the extra 100 miles and performed a job way above anyone's expectations. On a self-confesed petty theft charge which the DA office filed for a solid misdemeanor charges, Anita was able to get, yes a dismissal from the DA Office even before the court date, with just some community service and zero impact on my records. This is not just being lucky, After short three days from being hired Anita prepared a very powerful and conviencing defense package to the DA Office that the DA Office not only reduced it to infraction which what they offered originally but they accepted Anita fight and grantted a dismissal. Two families were involved in this petty theft charges, each had a lawyer, actually the high powered attorney who represented the other family didn't even contacted the DA Office before the court date, came in one hour late to the court and asked for the charge to be reduced to infraction, because she claimed it is faster and less time consuming, didn't even think about a dismissal, because unlike Anita she had no defense package prepared for her client to ask for a dismissal. The only reason the other family lucked out and got a dismissal because the DA decided to be fair and treat both families the same. Effectively speaking, due to Anita's hard and creative work she didn't only saved our family but saved the other family too despite the fact they had a high end powerful attorney who was willing to accept just to lower the charge for his client. Now if that is not a miracle and going the extra 100 miles, I don't know what a miracle is. After the court was over while the other family's attorney was no where to be seen, Anita stayed with us as a member of the family sharing our happy moments and relief. After that she personally came with us to the community service office to make sure I have a good place to spend my community service, which was a local golf club! Don't be fooled like me by high end attorneys with fancy names,offices, awards and certificates filling their walls from side to side, they don't have the time for you, they will only show up on court date and ask the minimum from the DA Office. Plus they have so many junior staff with very little experience working on your case, you will be lucky if you get the main guy fighting for you and representing you. Anita's past experience as a District Attorney really shows in her techniques and lawyering. She knows what it takes to work with the DA's offices because she was one herself. she is a nice and soft spoken person but fights like a polite tiger, knows how and where to bite!

I used Anita's services in May 2010, i found her to be very attentive, timely in her callbacks and emails,and gave me the best advice possible and helped me in my case every step of the way.Her experience was greatly appreciated by myself and i wouldn't hesitate to recommend her for any criminal case... she is very dilligent and knowledgeable in this field an trys her hardest and gives her best professionally and personally .
