I have known Vernon Ellicott for several years now. He was instrumental in helping me navigate through the legal complexities of my divorce, and more recently, he helped me with a termination of alimony case. Both very difficult times in my life. I unfortunately needed a lawyer and was referred to Vern by a friend. It was for a financial problem that was growing everyday. When I reached out to Vern he was so pleasant and reassuring that he could take care of my issue quickly. Well we all know lawyer's really only make there money when it take...s a lot of time. So this made me a little weary. Before I spoke to Vern I had spoken to a different lawyer who said this would take some time. That's when my friend said Vern will do it in half the time and you'll love him. Well my friend was absolutely correct but I didn't just love Vern I cherished him. He went above and beyond settling this, it was extremely quick and for a lot less than I was told by the other guy, a quarter of the amount in fact. Throughout the whole process Vern was in touch and kept me posted. He reassured me so my stress level was down and I really felt I was in the best hands possible. Vernon Ellicott proved to be just what I needed. With an overly controlling EX, Vernon came to my aid by telling me to let him take over and get myself off the hamster wheel. This completely changed the power curve to my side. Vernon was compassionate and personable, as was his wife who worked in ...the office. Both were wonderful to work with. The case turned out just the way he said it would. Unfortunately, as in most of these cases, at a high cost, but not nearly as much as my ex paid. I would highly recommend Vernon.
