I contacted Mr. Faucher to obtain some guidance on a large IRS debt, which escalated into a lien against my home. I had been told from other attorneys there was a possibility of negotiating an offer of compromise to reduce interest and late fees. Mr. Faucher assessed all options and concluded that in... my particular case this would not be successful since I maintained a high equity value upon potential sale of the property and there would be no leverage or interest on the part of the IRS to compromise.
