Jim is a great divorce lawyer

I hired Jim in my divorce case. I found him to be very knowledgeable in his field. He can navigate the complicated the divorce laws very easily. He is also a kind human being and gives you good advice. I especially liked his advice about remembering that even if your relationship didn't work you have... to keep things in perspective especially do what is right for the kids. Don't fight over petty stuff and don't make your divorce about emotionally getting back at your spouse. He does a great job of setting your expectation of what the process may look like in your unique situation. Thank you Jim!

Trustworthy, competent and fair in a difficult situation

I worked with Mr. Reape, and his wonderful support staff to resolve a long-standing and difficult issue involving collection of monies in compliance with Divorce Judgement terms. Mr. Reape’s diligent handling of the case resulted in a positive resolution after two other attorneys had failed to resolv...e the issues. Mr. Reape or his very competent staff including Ms. Darla Gottfried, Alanna Martin, and Mr. Jim Slaton promptly addressed my questions. I received the highest professional level of legal services from all concerned. Their knowledge of legal procedures was key in the strategy and preparation for court. This firm treated me with respect, compassion, and understanding that exceeded my expectations. Mr. Reape was mindful of financial circumstances and worked to accommodate my difficult situation. If you want a law firm that treats you with respect, and makes you feel like family, I highly recommend this Mr. Reape and his staff.

Excellent Representation

Sadly I have suffered the experience of divorce and the ugly side of people when they separate. I could have paid less and accepted less in terms of integrity and professionalism because that is readily available in this arena. Being an intergal person and one that does not cut corners I required th...e same in resolving very personal family issues so that I could pick up the pieces and move on. Jim Reape, Russell Thaw, Ruby, Chanel and the support team at Reape Rickett represent this throughout their firm. I can say I had a good experience losing my husband but I can say they made the process of losing him less painful and they gave me the legal and sometimes emotional support if needed to see to the otherside. Highly recommend this family law firm I wish I could give more stars.

Outstanding Attorney - Highly recommended

Jim Reape is quite frankly the BEST Divorce (Family Law) attorney out there. His knowledge and performance while in and out of court was spectacular.. Any father who wants more time or even custody of their minor children need to call Mr. Reape. He totally SPANKED all "four" of my ex-wife's attorn...eys. I love Reape & Rickett Attorneys at Law!! Thank you for all of your help. You and your staff are the BEST.!!

Jim Reape - Undoubtedly one of California's best divorce attorneys

I found Jim Reape by scouring the internet, and while I was reluctant to go this route, it quickly became apparent after an initial meeting that I had stumbled on one of the most knowledgable and effective divorce attorneys in the state, let alone the city of Santa Clarita. I was impressed by the... fact that Jim published numerous articles on a wide range of subjects related to divorce. He listened intently and always gave me as much time as I needed to explain or advise, and was always very accessible. He also had a great support staff. The judge and even the opposing attorney also clearly respected Jim and his knowledge of the law, and the way he approached the case. I was very, very happy to have found Jim Reape and his team, expecially including Paullete Galustain.
