When I first needed a lawyer to represent me in a frivolous restraining order suit, I went to Yelp and looked up attorney office's in my general area. After perusing the reviews, it was obvious that The Reape-Rickett Law Firm had phenomenal reviews from it's past clients. After using this fine organ...ization, I can assure you that their five star rating is well earned and I feel comfortable knowing that, should I ever need their their type of services, I don't have to think twice about who to call. I was represented by Melanie Gardner-Pawlak . The initial retainer was fair and reasonable. Melanie was incredibly knowledgeable, always there to answer any question/s asked and most importantly, had a cool and calming effect on me personally. There were numerous occasions where Melanie set me straight when I would become irrational. Matt Breddan was also extremely nice and highly professional during our day in court. He and Melanie worked out the best possible solution to my issue. They also employ a top notch support staff that stays on top of every needed document, and is there to help you dot every i and cross every t! Most importantly, they did not chisel and nickel and dime me as most other attorneys that I have worked with in the past have done. In fact, there were several occasions where Melanie said "you don't want to do that as it will cost you money you don't need to spend"!! Amazing! And then, towards the end, she answered several minor questions per gratis, which left a small balance to my retainer. This is a highly professional group of effective and fair attorneys that I would most highly recommend!

I have been a family law client of Melanie Gardner-Pawlak since October of 2014. Initially she was a responsive informative lawyer. Over the past year she has changed firms raised her prices significantly and become completely unresponsive. For the past 9 months my Ex-wife and I have been in agre...ement waiting for Melanie to finish the final judgement. Something she told me would take a couple weeks, and has not been completed for 9 months now. I have email and call her office roughly once a week, there doesn't seem to be any resolution in sight. She has been paid in full. I have had many business dealings with lawyers, this is by far the most frustrating and disappointing interaction with a lawyer I have ever had. Don't hire her unless you want to find yourself equally frustrated and disappointed.
