I reached out to the Kantor law firm about my 91-year-old mother's LTC policy having been terminated because she forgot to pay her bills due to sudden onset of cognitive impairment. She had been paying big bucks for this policy for almost 20 years, but hit a mental wall with all her bills last summer and is no longer capable of keeping up with her mail. Initially the firm wrote back and said they don't usually handle reinstatement cases. Then I received a personal email from Glenn who told me that my story kept him awake at night. He wanted to extend me a helping hand via email, gratis. His moral support and generous advice helped me through a very difficult process with the insurance company, and I'm happy to report that my mother's LTC policy has finally been reinstated after three grueling months and dozens of phone calls, faxes and sleepless nights of anxiety. Glenn is a real person who truly cares about people before money. He took it upon himself to keep in touch with me personally as well as send me a copy of a statute that helped me come up with the precise wording when crafting my own letter to the insurance company about reinstatement. I will not hesitate to hire Glenn down the line should my mom's insurance company ever give us trouble with a claim. He is a true gem.

I reached out to Glenn Kantor after being rejected for my LTD for cancer. He immediately got back to me, scheduled a call, and gave me key pointers on what to and what not to include in my appeal. I sent him a draft of my appeal and he suggested edits (all free of charge!). I am currently waiting to hear back from my LTD, but in case things don't go smoothly, I will reach out to Glenn without hesitation to take on this case- as he has proven himself to be an invaluable resource and a kind heart. Many thanks Glenn for all your help!

After having been diagnosed with tonsil cancer, I chose to have Proton Radiation instead of the conventional Radiation. After dealing with my medical insurance company and many denials, I sought legal representations from Glenn Kantor. He and his firm worked with me to help resolve my case with a fair outcome. Through the entire process, everyone in the firm was always very supportive, knowledgeable and handled every detail for me. I can truly say that Glenn and his firm are a top notch firm and I feel very grateful to have had such a wonderful experience in such a troubled time in my life.

I contacted the Kantor & Kantor law firm after thoroughly researching firms that handled ADA-related issues. I have a totally disabled daughter who had been denied by her insurance provider a replacement power wheelchair for the dilapidated chair she currently is forced to rely upon.
This denial came AFTER the necessary replacement had been APPROVED by this provider up to and including their CEO.
I tried my best to resolve this matter myself, but was met, repeatedly, by the sound of one hand clapping.
That's when I sought professional legal representation, and discovered Kantor & Kantor, and was fortunate enough to speak with Glenn Kantor, himself.
I explained what I'd tried, unsuccessfully, to resolve independently. He "felt" my frustration and sense of urgency in needing to achieve a successful resolution to this critical matter which was adversely effecting the health and well-being of my daughter.
He personally took ownership of my case immediately, and pursued it most effectively and appropriately.
The end result: my daughter is assured of having her replacement power chair within the next three weeks!
And ALL because of Glenn Kantor, and his all-star legal team's, research, action and timely resolution.
I really could not imagine a more successful outcome.
Glenn Kantor truly deserves a "Gold Hat" for legal expertise and timely resolution of our frustrating and disappointing
I highly recommend contacting Kantor & Kantor based on my personal, and firsthand experience.

We learned of Glenn's ERISA disability skills over ten years ago, when I was facing an unreasonable (but not unusual) termination of my Long-Term Disability claim payments from a heartless insurer. My wife and I spent nearly six months preparing an appeal to the termination, which we understood would likely be denied by the insurer regardless of the evidence presented from numerous doctor reports. Glenn and his staff repeatedly advised us on the best approach, spending many hours discussing and reviewing our appeal (at no cost to us). Although we were not surprised by the denial, the extensive information we provided in the appeal strengthened our case against the insurer for an eventual lawsuit that Glenn took on a contingency basis. And despite the large geographical distance separating us from Kantor & Kantor, Glenn guided us through all their court filings and correspondence required to bring the suit to the courts. Weeks after filing, Glenn hosted the court-mandated mediation between the two parties. Thanks mostly to Glenn’s knowledge and effort, the insurer agreed to pay all back-benefits and resume monthly payments at this meeting. Glenn was very understanding of our personal situation and offered a discounted fee for his representation – a very fair man.
Over the ensuing years, Glenn and his staff have guided us through multiple obstacles presented by the insurance company, including Activities of Daily Living reports, Physician Forms, and Independent Medical Examinations. He has a very understandable method of communicating the complexities of ERISA disability law and explaining the techniques used by the callous insurance companies.
Another positive of Kantor & Kantor - they are a family-run law firm, and we’ve been lucky enough to have dealt with the same attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff for over 10 years! That is very rare in today's world of constant changes. In fact, when I speak with Glenn now, I feel I’m talking with a friend as much as a professional attorney.
We could go on (and, indeed, have offered to provide a more-personal reference); however, the details of ERISA battles are overwhelming. You likely have dealt with more than your share of woes - do yourself a favor and hire Glenn!

I personally would not recommend Mr.Kantor. I chose him by his bald catching advertisement add and got not at the best position with whole stuff experience here. It was very hard to get answered my questions, would take sometimes a days by e-mail, clerk did not return my calls and I got false information about my case. I put two stars, not one, because ones in awhile I got effort barely to get some calls personally from attorney or his assistants .Would definitely chose different attorney for any legal case matters.

I was dropped by my insurance carrier for reasons I did not understand. I almost let go but I was permanently disabled. I went on the Martindale Hubbell website and the very first firm listed with expertise to help me with the insurance company was Kantor & Kantor! I contacted them and had a consultation. I hired this firm. This firm went above and beyond diligently reviewing every detail of my case. Glenn Kantor is one of the best in his field. The entire process was over in a matter of months. I am truly and sincerely so thankful that I decided to contact them. I would recommend this firm to any and every person having problems with insurance companies. They are experts in the field they practice. The entire team - from his legal assistant to the managing partner gave their all. I want to again thank everyone who had a hand in handling my case. You were pleasant, thoughtful and truly dedicated to make sure the result was favorable. Ten stars to Kantor & Kantor!

Mr Kantor was recommended to us as the best in his field by our other attorneys who do not specialize in his field. He evaluated our case and left the decision to us as to whether to proceed. Though we decided not to I was impressed by his professionalism and integrity.

Kantor & Kantor was instrumental in winning my LTD case against a major LTD carrier. Recommended by a retired lawyer friend of the family, my initial consultation with Glenn Kantor made it obvious that they were the right choice to help me win my LTD appeal. Still I did interview the major firms that specialize in ERISA law (some more expensive, some less expensive), however this is not a situation where you want to choose the cheapest firm!
Speaking from experience, it is much better to receive a larger percentage of something, than 100 percent of Nothing!
Like mine, I am sure that most disability journeys are full of anxiety and depression and it is very difficult and stressful when having to deal with questions and requests from your LTD carrier in order to continue to receive your benefits.
My main contact at Kantor & Kantor was Mr. Andrew Kantor. Andrew’s professionalism, optimism, follow up and his ability to explain my case in a way I could understand was refreshing and greatly appreciated! I will be forever grateful for him and everyone at Kantor and Kantor for helping in my need and putting me on ease in the most professional way I have seen to date.
In my opinion the appeal process is impossible for those who go through it disabled. I used to be a smart guy, and there was NO WAY I would have considered the appeal by myself! The insurance companies are huge and well resourced and the only way you have a chance of winning is to hire Kantor and Kantor. Andrew and his team dealt with them masterfully, as far as I am concerned Kantor & Kantor was on top of everything. They kept me informed and up-to-date. They answered all my questions promptly. And they showed real compassion in their dealings with me.
Bottom Line: Kantor & Kantor won my appeal and if anyone who is on LTD and needs help I highly recommend Kantor & Kantor for a positive outcome.

I’m a lawyer. So when I became ill and needed an attorney, I researched every disability firm in Southern California. At the top of my list was Kantor & Kantor.
The day I met Glenn Kantor, he had just undergone painful dental surgery and had only returned to the office to pick up a few files before heading home. Nevertheless, Glenn agreed to stay and speak to me about my situation. The meeting lasted a couple of hours. Halfway through, I had already decided to hire his firm. So, for the rest of the conversation, I felt like I was talking to a concerned friend. If you are seriously ill, you know how good it feels to speak to someone who both understands and cares what you are going through.
After retaining his services, Glenn introduced me to a younger lawyer at his firm, Beth Davis. When I met with Beth, I realized she had already read and understood the medical literature on my illness, which was no small task, given that I have a rare and difficult to understand condition. After the meeting, Beth requested my medical records—again, not an easy task, given the number of physicians I had seen—and then planned a course of action. When all the information was gathered, we submitted the claim to my insurance company, supported by numerous doctor letters and the latest medical research. When the insurance company sent one of its investigators to interview me, Beth was at my side. Soon thereafter, I was awarded full benefits. Of course there were a few bumps along the way—doctors don’t always keep the best notes and insurance companies are apt to misinterpret them—but Beth resolved every problem admirably, making sure that, in the end, I received everything I was entitled to under my policy. And she managed to do so without irritating or upsetting my insurance company.
At a time when I was not physically capable of handling stress, I found working with Kantor & Kantor a complete pleasure. They are, no doubt, the best disability law firm in Southern California.
