I was referred to Maya's firm by a friend and am very grateful for it. Maya represented me in a custody situation with my ex-husband. She and her staff did an excellent job and were both understanding and responsive to questions and concerns. I would highly recommend Maya to anyone needing counsel... in a family law case. I hope to not need this type of representation in the future, but in the event that I do, I would definitely use Maya's firm again. Jennifer and Gigi in her office were wonderful to deal with also.

I hired Maya Shulman for my divorce where the process lasted from September 2019-January 2021. The divorce ended completely in my favor thanks to Maya and her incredible staff. At the beginning of my divorce, it was really hard for me emotionally and Maya was always patient and would always put my mi...nd on the right track to get where I needed to get too for this to all work out smoothly. Despite COVID being a huge issue with time, Maya and her staff were always available for me to email or call with any issues or questions that I had along the way. This process was a bit expensive but it was extremely worth it in the end. With Maya, you have to really listen to her and trust her process because she truly knows what she is doing and even if you have moments of doubt, just know that Maya and her associates truly have your back at all times. I am very thankful for the work Maya and her staff did, I got everything I wanted out of this and then some. I highly recommend Maya Shulman to anyone who needs a divorce attorney. 10/10.

I have been professionally associated with Maya Shulman for nearly 20 years, and I have worked directly in consultation with many of her clients. I have always found her to be a consummate professional who takes her clients' needs seriously. She is a straight-shooter, and that might be off-putting... to clients who think an attorney is supposed to be a hand-holder. Her clients (with whom I have consulted) have always felt she knew the law and gave them the best representation possible. Being that she is a Certified Family Law Specialist, her clients are involved in a divorce proceeding and/or custody battle. These are highly contentious and stress-provoking processes, and clients who are unhappy tend to blame their attorney. Bad reviews (sour grapes) are damaging not only for the recipient but also for the reviewer who has no ability to take responsibility for their role in the process.
