Ellis Roy Stern

I am a CPA and have worked with quite a few of my clients' trust attorneys so I have a basis of comparison. I had Mr. Stern do my wife and my Will and Living Trust and also my Mother's Will and Living Trust. There were some possible issues with some potential beneficiaries who would not be please...d with our bequests and Ellis made some very intelligent and caring suggestions as to how these potential problems could be solved with the least possibility of any litigation in the future. Certainly not looking to generate extra fees. His fees were well within the going rates in Encino and actually, I was surprised at how reasonable they were for the services performed. At all times, Mr. Stern acted ethically and this is quite important to me being a CPA. For disclosure, other then Mr. Stern doing my personal work, I have never had any business relationship with him for myself or my clients. I obviously only can speak to my own experiences with Mr. Stern in relationship to the experiences. I think I have a good background as a CPA to judge an attorneys work, ethics and professionalism and it is difficult for me to believe that this is the same person I have dealtt with over the years.
