Where do I even start? It never really felt like Maya was on my side. I never had the feeling that she should have the status of super lawyer. Do not let these things fool you. She will make sure your case will flow through every possible step. This will cost you a fortune. She will request eve...ry hearing, every form of documentation which will need considerable review from her and her staff. Months later, she will ask for documentation that you had already provided and she billed for review, then want to bill you again for it. She will recommend you do not settle at one point, then recommend later to settle for almost the same thing. Only this time you owe her 30K more than you did before. She will also bring in all of her friends (forensic accountants, business attorneys) so they can also make a "few" bucks too. At last, if she feels dissatisfaction from you, she will attempt to remove herself from your case and leave you high and dry when you need her most -- then threaten to sue you for the balance you owe her. We got our butts kicked at every turn. We never winning in this case, even though it was clear my ex and her lawyer were submitting fraudulent statements and documentation. I absolutely do not recommend this lawyer.

Maya is a very professional attorney. We came to her for a divorce mediation and she made the process SO easy. Divorce is always emotional and difficult, but having Maya allowed us to get through the process without arguing. She showed us what to do without making it complicated. We both felt we ...were treated fairly. She handled the case professionally and in a minimal amount of time. I would highly recommend her. Don't waste tens (or hundreds) of thousands of dollars on a full blown court case where nobody wins. Convince your future ex spouse to meet with you and Maya to at least discuss mediation instead.

I strongly recommend Maya as your divorce attorney because she is a great listener, understanding of your feelings and will give 100% of her effort to producing a fantastic outcome for you personally.
