Scott Kosner

I’m very disappointed with his service. Our contract is over July 2022 but I’m still getting invoice from his office. The reason why I had to change Mr Scott to my new lawyer because it was very difficult to communicate with him. He won’t reply my emails/texts, I always had to call his paralegal in...stead. This office is very disorganized and often forgets a lot of things. They also made mistakes filing my old FL142 and FL150 even after I submitted them the new updated version which I had to amend those with my new attorney. I understand mistake happened but they charged me for their mistake and it is still causing me inconvenience and costed me a lot to amend these documents with the court. Considering this, I asked his office not to charge me the remaining amount which is $700. I sent their office email on Feb 17, 2023. But of course, no one replied me as usual. I hope he reads my review and respond to me. I will update my review once I receive the response.

I just spoke with Scott’s paralegal today to retain him as my attorney. I have not met him in person. However, when I contacted him for a consultation he gave me his full attention and spoke to me for over two hours without charging me to sit in his office (a barrier I came up against with multiple a...ttorneys who were rude before I even opened my mouth to ask questions). Scott was kind, encouraging knowledgeable and I felt heard. I am looking forward to working with him and I would encourage anyone to reach out to him for his expertise. I have been going through a toxic divorce and child custody battle for over a year and half made extra complicated by Covid and CPS. I am so relieved to have found someone I already trust.

Waste of money, case is still not finished and took whole retainer fee and still wants more money for a simple visitation order. Lawyer will talk non sense to rack up his $400 hourly charge about nothing that has to do with your case. Been a month since our court hearing and still waiting on papers t...o sign to finalized everything.

Sadly, this Attorney mishandled our case. The cost still needs to be resolved with the State Bar. Sadly this Attorney thought he was a better judge of character in just one meeting in comparison to 30 years of actually living with and knowing the opposing side despite our warnings. It appears in ...documentation he realized his error and then tried to turn it around at the 11th hour to cover his butt but sadly gave us a bogus document to file that would have caused harm to his own clients if the client signed it and it was filed. I am so glad we had it reviewed before trusting this Attorney. Needless to say we had to let him go. He tried but must have realized he made a big mistake and did try to not charge us fees however the amount of damage at this time appears to be over 200,000 than what him not charging fees would be. :) I do believe he is a good attorney but boy did he misjudge the situation despite us warning him. We look forward to resolving this soon and recouping the damage done due to mishandling the case. He is oeoabky still a great Attorney when he handles his cases correctly.

Scott is an amazing attorney who is genuinely committed to help his clients to their best interest. I chose to handle my divorce on my own until the trial date. I consulted with Scott during the weekend and made an appointment for the following Monday. I hired Scott last min, exactly a week before co...urt. Scott promptly prepared the documents for my case and represented me in court. Scott promptly handled a "curve ball" that was thrown at him by my ex-wife when she filed last minute an Ex-parte and resolved it favorably for me. Scott professionalism was beyond what I expected as he mediated, in a fair manner, between my ex-wife and I guiding her and providing her with information and actions that would make the divorce process smoother. Scott definitely exceeded my expectations as a lawyer. Scott stayed in court handling my divorce for over three hours. Scott is an amazing person and attorney who places his clients' interest as a priority, and best of all at a fair price. I would definitely recommend Scott Kosner to my friends and family because I want what is best for them.
