After I learned that I had passed the Bar exam, I expected to soon be a lawyer, until I was informed that my moral character application was still not approved. It was then that I realized for the first time that I was in real trouble. I was crushed. I consulted with one attorney, but did not have... confidence in him/her. The effect was twofold: first, I gained genuine insight into the circumstances I had put myself into that had brought me to my current position; second, correspondingly, this insight helped genuinely transform me into the sort of person that the Bar could ultimately stamp with the "good moral character" seal of approval.
