Zach Was Absolutely The Best Choice!

As you can imagine, when learning that my moral application was submitted for additional review and investigation, I was deeply concerned because my law license is my family's livelihood. To say I lost several nights of sleep is an underestimated. I tried unsuccessfully to resolve the issue directly ...with the investigator. This was a mistake. Just because you are an existing or aspiring attorney does not mean that you have ability to effectively resolve moral investigations with the California Bar. After calling several places and speaking to a few attorneys, I chose Zach for the following reasons: (1) his professional experience including a 4-year term on the Committee of Bar Examiners and also serving as deputy attorney general for California; (2) his incredible responsiveness (something completely foreign to the other attorneys I spoke to); (3) his formulation of a strategy for resolution based upon the unique circumstances of my case as opposed to some generalized "cookie-cutter" strategy; and (4) his unwavering commitment to instill calm and confidence in his clients through perhaps one of the most difficult processes an attorney may go through in their professional career. After thoroughly evaluating my case, Zach made several recommendations in anticipation of preparing a response to the investigator. I yielded to his knowledge and expertise. The matter was successfully resolved, even beyond my expectations. If you are facing an investigation, my recommendation as a fellow attorney is to simply stop, contact Zach and let him guide you through this complicated process. Do not attempt to do it yourself. I am so fortunate to have found Zach. Me and my family are forever deeply grateful to Zach for what he has done for us.

The best lawyer for CA bar matters

I am truly grateful to Mr. Wechsler for his guidance, and spot-on advice during my moral character investigation. He was absolutely the right lawyer I needed to see me through the process. From our first phone conversation I could see that he was experienced, honest, no-nonsense, and had the skill t...o zero in on just what the bar was looking for with their questioning. I was traveling when I received the e-mail stating they had questions. I called a few lawyers and as soon as I spoke to Mr. Wechsler, I knew he was the right person. What I truly valued about Mr. Wechsler's representation was that he was so honest. He knew exactly what the bar needed to hear from me and he encouraged me to be honest, thorough, and heartfelt. Whenever I e-mailed Mr. Wechsler my responses, his edits were spot-on. Additionally, when I hit a snag, he steered me right through it with confidence and ease. What I also truly appreciate it is that he always encouraged me to remain calm and not to worry. I am a worrier by nature, and it meant a lot to me that he cared to see me calm down. I cannot speak highly enough about his representation. I am truly grateful. I will encourage anyone who gets the "we have questions" e-mail from the bar to call Mr. Wechsler promptly. Without reservation, I can honestly state I doubt there is a better lawyer for these matters than Mr. Wechsler. Additionally, he returns calls and e-mails promptly. If he is not going to be available for any reason, he lets you know ahead of time. Mr. Wechsler will hold your hand, but you must do the work. He does not write your answers or compile your packet. However, his guidance is key and he really knows what the bar is looking for. I let Mr. Wechsler handle all of my communication with the bar and I am happy I did. I recommend him fully and without reservation. I will always be grateful for his help.

Will Help You Become an Attorney - and a Better Person

After I learned that I had passed the Bar exam, I expected to soon be a lawyer, until I was informed that my moral character application was still not approved. It was then that I realized for the first time that I was in real trouble. I was crushed. I consulted with one attorney, but did not have... confidence in him/her. Thereafter I contacted Mr. Wechsler by phone. Mr. Wechsler was calm, professional, and authoritative, but not unkind. He told me the unpleasant truth about the situation I was in and about what I would need to do, without sugarcoating it, but also offered a clear way forward as well as a realistic assessment of my chances of getting into the Bar. After our initial phone consultation, I met with him in Los Angeles a couple weeks later. Once again, he reassured me that I should be able to get into the Bar if I took the steps he proscribed, but warned me against trying to talk the talk without walking the walk. It was time, in his words, to be 110% honest with him, the Bar, and most importantly, myself. Over the next year or so, he guided me as I worked with the state Bar to prove that I had good moral character. However, make no mistake - Mr. Wechsler made me do the work. The effect was twofold: first, I gained genuine insight into the circumstances I had put myself into that had brought me to my current position; second, correspondingly, this insight helped genuinely transform me into the sort of person that the Bar could ultimately stamp with the "good moral character" seal of approval. I am now a licensed attorney, and much credit should go to Mr. Wechsler for helping me get there with his wisdom and veteran guidance. He did what he said he was going to do. Because of Mr. Wechsler, apart from now being an attorney, I am now also a better person. If you are having a problem with the state Bar, hire Mr. Wechsler,

client

Zach was hands down the best decision I've made during the moral character process. He knows this process inside and out. He's won't coddle you or tell you what you want to hear, but he will tell you what you NEED to hear to get you through your problem. His methods may seem extreme at times but his ...judgment is absolutely spot on. Worth every penny.

Excellent Advocate, 100% Recommended

Mr. Wechsler is highly experienced, professional, and also a very nice person. He guided me through the stressful and arduous process of gaining admission to the state bar. His experience having previously sat on the bar committee in the past meant he knew exactly what I needed to do every step of ...the way in my application. He was always up front and honest with me, often telling me things I didn't want to hear but needed to. Mr. Wechsler was also sensitive to how stressful this process can be for people like me, having finished 3 years of law school, passed the bar exam, and yet still not know if I'd be admitted to the state bar; he always offered words in support and reassured me that if I worked hard, I wouldn't have any problems getting in. In the end I got the exact result I wanted: prompt admission to the state bar. But I know this could not have happened without Mr. Wechsler's excellent counsel and guidance. Mr. Wechsler's services are not cheap, but you will get top value for money spent. After all, when it comes to protecting your professional license, you want the best representing you, and, in my humble opinion, Mr. Wechsler is the best.
