I’ve had some positive and negative dealings with attorney and investigator Debra Burdette that I feel should be shared with others. She works primarily out of the South Bay area of Los Angeles, under her name, and under the name “Oakleaf Investigations”. She is, in some ways, fairly profession...al, and does, for example, return calls promptly. But she also acts out in ways that I found very troubling. She has a ferocious temper which she seems not able to control, which I discovered to be a major problem. I would strongly suggest that if you are considering hiring her, that you insist on getting a list of at least three recent clients, and take the time to contact these clients to discuss their experience. While my experience with her was both good and bad, on balance, for me there was much more bad than good, and I would definitely not recommend her to my friends. But again, mine is but one opinion, and you may find talking to her recent clients helpful.
