Debra J Burdette

I hired Debra J. Burdette to end my divorce. She was my lawyer for 40 days. She is a terrible Attorney. Do not waste your money or time dealing with Debra J. Burdette. Here is what I experienced: - Lots of promises from Debra before retaining her services. - Promptly after retaining, Debra did ...not return emails or calls… or call when she said she was going to call. - Debra has no office support - Debra doesn’t “work” Thursdays or Fridays, or weekends. - Debra has no time for anything, leaving everything to the last minute, then mistakes made and no follow-up. - Debra has a terrible temper and will yell at you. - Debra is very biased and will only fight for what she feels is correct. - Debra ended up acting like she was working for the opposing council. - Debra did not uphold her promises and ultimately was fired.

Going through a divorce, I had no idea where to start. I heard "get a mediator!" "don't deal with lawyers" "do it yourself" and may others. I'm so glad I found Debra to help me through the process. She explained very clearly what to expect. I found her to be incredibly easy to work with, honest, and ...flexible. She didn't push her services on me...she explained my options and let me decide.
