***please do not hire this lawyer!!! All she cares about is $$. I hired this lawyer for a custody issue. She didn’t take time to listen to my concerns and was such a pushover! She was disorganized and all over the place. She led me to believe one thing and Bullied me into agreeing to BS from opposing... party! All that because she didn’t want to put in some work. I feel so misrepresented and wasted my money and time with her. She might be good in some other area of law, but family law is clearly NOT her strong suit! I will not recommend her to anyone.

Debra helped me with a hard child custody case. The case was hard partly because events kept changing with the other parent from one court date to the next. She is extremely organised and she was somehow able to keep everything straight for me. At times it was very hard emotionally and I felt like gi...ving up, but Debra helped me stay focused. With her help, I got the best outcome I could have hoped for. I am truly grateful I had her on my team. She is smart, articulate, cool under pressure, and very funny, which helped me get through some of the worst moments. If I ever need help again, I will want to have Debra helping me.

Debra Burdette is an amazing attorney, I didn't think I had a chance at a motion to reconsider on child custody order, especially going in to ask this judge who already hated me to reconsider orders he had just made days before, and on top of that we were going to go in ex parte to make this request....... I called Debra on a Saturday and introduced myself, she met me in her office Sunday night at 5pm and stayed there with me until she knew my case like I did, which took several hours. She walked in that courtroom on Tuesday morning, and when she walked out...people in the courtroom were left thinking "wait..what just happened?" And time and time again I got to see that reaction left on the faces of the people she's come across. . She became far more than a lawyer to me...she's my close friend...someone Ive called crying to at night, or ranting and raving to about how much of a jerk my ex is after a child exchange at 5am.... She's amazing...She really cares about what she does and the families she represents, yet she's still tough enough to kick some a**...
