I'm one of those old school guys who has ran a business on a handshake and some basic guidelines. I've paid my employees very well, been very kind to them and paid them like my contemporaries have. When my attorney was unable to take a deposition of a third party in my litigation case last year, Lisa stepped in at the last minute. I was so impressed by her knowledge of my case, the legal issues, and how effectively she deposed the third party witness whose admissions turned out to be critical... to my case. Soon after, opposing counsel, two attorneys from a large law firm, started inundating my attorney, Pam, with lots of motions while tying her up all day in depositions that were far from her office. After our judge issued a 43 page single-spaced order denying my employer’s motion for summary judgment, the win was short-lived because my employer quickly filed a motion for reconsideration which was granted before my attorneys even had a chance to respond. Lisa spearheaded the efforts to seek emergency relief which ultimately resulted in reinstating all of my claims for trial.
