Over very nearly ten years of my very high conflict divorce, child support and child custody case I have been represented internationally by various attorneys from whom I have gained valuable advocation and decent to excellent legal representation. Some made themselves available to my constantly cha...nging and evolving legal issues as needed but were less than necessarily aggressive or organized in the court room in the face of my adversary or our judge. Others were less than available in the midst of legal family emergencies, but ample in the realm of presentation on court days. Ben on the other hand has been both, he not only makes and takes the time that I feel my case deserves, presents a respectable case on my behalf, but enters the courtroom with the respect, experience and savvy required to make the necessary progress and bring the matters of my family legitimately before judges and comissioners for appropriate request for orders as well as refinements to already existing orders on all fronts. I highly recommend Ben, and here is why... After 6.5 years of putting my all into my marriage, I filed for divorce. My wife immediately hired an attorney, filed for & obtained a temporary Restraining Order by lying to the court, kept me from our daughter for 6 weeks, and led us down a destructive pa...th. Out of necessity, I hastily hired an attorney. After 9 months of deliberations, I spent en exorbitant amount of money, was kept from my daughter, and ended up with no legal custody & very limited visitation. All of this occurred because my counterpart simply continued with unlimited accusations, she had a good attorney, and I hired a bad attorney. I did not know any of this could happen as I'd been a dedicated husband, work-from-home father. I assumed all would work out as I had good intentions and wanted the best for everyone. I quickly learned that this does not matter, within the court system, when the other party has different intentions. The attorney I hired did not bring up valuable information in the court, did not ask the needed questions during our many court appearances, and did not take into account my useful ideas. Because of this, the end result was quite unfortunate; A loving father, left with very limited visitation, no savings, living month-to-month, depressed, and one who lost faith in the court system. As the following year passed, my ex-wife pursued attempts to get me into additional trouble. Calling the police for no reason, informing our child's pre-school of her prior temporary restraining order, and taking any action to defame me. I simply wanted to be left alone and wanted a reasonable custody schedule. After this 2nd year of threats, police phone calls, and defamatory actions, I finally fired my old attorney and found Ben. Within a few months I was back in court, Ben was concise in his presentation of facts, maintained a calm and direct manner, and ended this madness. The judge warned my ex-wife that she would loose majority custody if she did not discontinue her actions. As of today I have my daughter just shy of half the week (as it should be), I am no longer harassed, and I am living a happy life. All of which is because of Benjamin Kanani. I am so very thankful I found him.

Benjamin is a great and professional attorney. He always took the time to answer all my questions and concerns... even if it meant keeping him on the phone for a long time on his busy schedule. He took care of my custody case which was a bit complicated given that my child's father lives overseas and... many issues to be covered arise with such case. He always walked into court very confident which was a huge plus for me and his overall demeanor would put me at ease. There are a couple of things which I was not happy 100% with the ruling of my case, but most were dependent on the judge we were assigned; Issues in which Benjamin indeed tried his best by presenting good facts and arguments to the court. Overall, if you want an honest, professional, and good attorney, then I definitely recommend Ben.
