I received a second DUI 9 years after the first due to terrible decision making and judgement. He immediately set up an appointmen...t with me and guided me on every step of the process. He was patient, and understanding from the start and I felt like I was in good hands. After discussing the possible repercussions, importance of maintaining a good record and stressing at avoiding a third DUI, I was on my way. My case took an entire year to start, so meanwhile I had begun the DMV side of the process with Matthew answering every email and call promptly. I was guided on how to lift the driving restriction immediately and informed me on what to tell them DMV. Even offered to talk to the clerks if any issues arose. Eventually the case began and he and an associate represented me at all times without my appearance. They filed all paperwork and took all steps necessary, relieving me of stress and worry. In the end, they were able to reduce jail time, reduce fines, and I received the lowest penalty for second DUIs within reason. I turned myself into jail when agreed upon and was signed off immediately and went home. They also represented me when it was time to follow up with progress reports, and took the opportunity to request community service in lieu of large fines which was granted. I now owe a much lesser fine and 3 days of community service which is reasonable. I will contact him in the future for expungement or any further help after probation is over.
