I am a Los Angeles based real estate attorney who leads a team of real estate lawyers. I represent many types of clients ranging from businesses to high net worth individuals, landlords, tenants, real estate investors, developers, and more. I enjoy litigating real estate disputes all throughout Southern California. Some of my recent accomplishments include:
· $4.618 million fraud judgment against a real estate developer, attorney and construction company;
· A jury verdict resulting in $2.5 million payment to my client;
· A successful resolution of a specific performance case without settlement or trial while recovering all of my client's attorneys' fees;
· A jury verdict in favor all five of my clients in a multiparty real estate litigation;
· Successfully defeating a judgment debtor's attempt to dispose of a judgment through bankruptcy;
· A complete defense verdict (12-0) on all claims after a lengthy jury trial involving the sale of an airplane;
· An arbitration award in favor of my clients being sued for alleged failure to disclosure in connection with real property with no money awarded to the claimant; and
· Numerous large settlements for my clients.

Very practical
We hired Schorr Law to help us with a few different real estate matters. We began by consulting with them on the purchase of a property and then wound up going back to Zach for continued advice throughout escrow. He was able to give both a legal and practical perspective that made the issues easy ...

Great Lawyer for Arbitration
I hired Mr. Schorr to help with with an arbitration. He came to the case with knowledge about real estate law and appraisals and was able to really think on his feet during cross-examination of experts because he knew the ins and outs of the case and the law in such a way that he could pin the exper...

won my real estae case but charged exorbitant fees and wanted to change deed of trust with his name
This lawyer won my real estate case but charged exorbitant fees over $300,000.00 and tried to concince me to change the deed of trust on my home to include him. He also threatened liens and to lock down all my assets knowing that I had a lot of equity in my home. He hired 4 different lawyers while ex...
Both the underlying court and a panel of three binding arbitrators appointed to review this matter have declared this former client to be not credible. This review is untrue and we encourage potential clients to look at the numerous other positive reviews on this site. We regrettably took this client's case after she had fired or had been fired by five other attorneys. We won her case and got her a judgment valued at approximately $2 million, which she, her five prior attorneys and even the judge thought was impossible. Our fees are more than reasonable and have been declared the same by an independent review. And, although many firms would have charged far more than $300,000 for the amount and complexity of work involved in this case, we did not charge anywhere close to that amount. Our attorneys spent countless, nights, weekends and holidays working on this case to obtain results so remarkable that the Judge stated, “I have been incredibly impressed with the amount of work and the quality of work that has been done. I think the [client] would have been well-served had Mr. Schorr been her counsel [since the beginning].” The judge further stated to Mr. Schorr, “[y]ou were so good in this trial that you convinced me that the law requires that your client win. And, so, I struggled and kicked and fought because it wasn’t particularly the outcome I wanted to have.” This review is particularly upsetting because (despite the tremendous results we obtained for this client), she refuses to pay us, which has resulted in Schorr Law coming out of pocket to pay outside vendors over $10,000 on her behalf. Her refusal to pay her bills was the subject of a binding arbitration which we won and have since converted to a binding judgment against her. The Arbitration Panel ordered her to pay our fees and costs and said that it "does not find [the client's] testimony credible." Her allegations regarding the deed of trust to her home are also untrue. Quite the opposite, as a courtesy, we looked for creative ways to extend her credit during the litigation. Unfortunately, our acts of kindness backfired, and once we won her case, she refused pay the line of credit that we had extended her during the litigation. After our unfortunate experience with this client, we screen our prospective client more carefully and are far more selective in the clients we agree to work with. Schorr law has now been around for almost 10 years and our employees and growth have everything to do with the success we constantly achieve for our many client and the strong relationships we build. Our hard work and creative arguments have resulted in millions of dollars in client awards and savings.
