They are rude. Everyone on staff from Nick Wadja to accounting and the documents department. I paid in full, signed evetything, sent all the papers asked for and they kept canceling. When I spoke to another attorney about my situation he said maybe i didnt qualify for bankruptcy and they were procras...tinating. Paid in full almost a year ago. They lost paper, acted like i was the issue. Rude everytime i called. They hate their job or the work environment is toxic. Awful to deal with find another law group. There are soo many. No need to be treated like trash every time

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Waste of Time and Unprofessional Behavior I am extremely disappointed with the experience I had during what was advertised as a free consultation. I spent nearly an hour providing all of my financial information to your intake representative, Latoya. However, w...hen I finally spoke with the attorney named Nicholas Wajda he flatly told me he wasn’t going to review my budget at all...not even a glance. He then dismissively stated, “We don’t work for free.” If that’s the case, why even offer a “free consultation” if no real review or guidance is provided? I did not ask anyone to work for free—I expected a fair and respectful conversation, especially after giving so much personal information and time upfront. What’s worse is the disrespectful tone and the implication that my time meant nothing. I can earn more money, but I can’t get back my time. The entire experience felt like a bait-and-switch and left me feeling devalued and disrespected. I have heard too often that Black clients are treated differently or unfairly in situations like this—and unfortunately, my experience today felt like confirmation of that. I have never been late on a payment in my entire life, yet I was treated with disdain by someone I might have had to pay to represent me. This was unprofessional, unacceptable, and frankly gross. I will be reaching out to Ascend and would strongly encourage you to reconsider keeping this attorney as a representative of your firm.
