I called Attorney Field for a free consultation about a question about my disability claim with my employer. He really took the time to understand the whole situation and then gave me his honest advice on all possible outcomes and what I should do going forward. He was incredibly understanding and pe...rsonable. He also sounded extremely knowledgeable about workman's comp and stress related litigation. If and when I am ready to sue my employer I will definitely be calling on Attorney Field. At the end of the call I really felt like I was his client already. Also he returned my call and his assistant was very courteous and thorough in taking notes on my situation before the call. Two other lawyers also rated at the top of their field by AVVO did not even bother to call me back for a consultation.

I consulted and hired Mr. Field, around 11/2015. At first he seemed very knowledgeable relating to my case, when it came to manners he was always professional and very respectful. His office got me into a doctor, around 1/2016. Which for some reason the previous two attorneys, couldn't do. Once I beg...an to see the doctor, that was technically were everything stopped. A few months later I went to visit the state doctor. I saw that doctor twice, I never received any calls or notifications in any way from either Mr. Field or his secretary Imelda letting me know if they had gotten the report or not. I called their office trying to figure out what was going on, and the secretary Imelda would always give me the runaround. I called so many times trying to speak, even set up an appointment to talk to Mr. Field, and his secretary Imelda would always tell me that he was too busy and that they would call me back. Guess what???? This office never, never calls back. When it came time to gather any paperwork needed, they never did anything, a few times the secretary would tell me to go and fetch whatever papers I needed myself.....so what's the point of even hiring Mr. Field if I was doing all that leg work, which is what the lawyer and their paralegals and secretaries are supposed to do. That's their job. Once I was able to talk to Mr. Field over the phone, he told me he was going to call me back...guess what just like his secretary I never got a call back. So I contacted the neutral doctors office, come to find out that they had already sent the report to Mr. Field's office. By this time a year has passed, no contact from Mr. Field or his secretary Imelda. I went to pick up the report from the neutral doctors office, to find out that they had sent Mr. Field the report only two days after my visit. SO why the long wait????? Maybe Mr. Field was offered a nice payout under the table who knows. Mr. Field and his secretary had the report from the neutral doctor, the most important document, for more then a year in their possession, and they purposely were waiting for time to pass by so my case would have been denied had I waited and not taken any action. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT HIRE GREGGORY M. FIELD. He is the worst attorney you can hire to handle a workers comp case. If you want to be ignored, and have your time wasted then by all means consult and hire Mr. Field. To top it off, he has the worst secretary. She never remembers anything, she never follows up with anything. She is the worst I have ever met, someone working in that type of position has to be precise, professional, and has to be ORGANIZED something this law firm is not. SO I consulted a different lawyer after more then a year, I gave them the state doctors report one day and the very next day they had a court date set. ALSO Mr. Field signed all my paperwork wrong, he shortened the time I had worked at my job to under a year, I worked their for almost four years. PLEASE stay away from this firm, take your business elsewhere, do not fall for the fancy degrees hanging on his wall...because Mr. Field does not know how to properly pursue workers compensation cases. One red flag I didn't catch, was when I had my first visit to see the state doctor. Mr. Field, told me to mention him to the state doctor that Mr. Field and him, knew each other for a long time. When I visited the doctor, I mentioned Mr. Field and he didn't know who he was. Take THIS as a warning to anyone who is thinking about hiring Mr. Field. You are going to be sorely disappointed, and again you will have your time wasted...and in a workers compensation case the most important commodity is time. Mr. Field and his secretary Imelda didn't do anything for me, for my case, wasted more then a year of my time...but they sure were quick to send the bill.
