Bartley Austin Babcock

Bartley seemed OK at first. But after we agreed on a price, he did everything he could to weasel out on that agreement. He said he didn’t have time, didn’t like the judge, wanted to charge me more. He finally sent me a retainer agreement that was too generic. It didn’t really fit the circumstanc...es of my case. I asked him a few questions about the agreement, but he would not answer a single one of them, even the most basic question, even after weeks. He kind of left me in a lurch and my case is suffering for it.

Mr Babcock advised us that 12 pm, the next day would be a time when he would be available for an initial consultation and we confirmed this time as suitable and showed up, with an extra 5-7 minutes to spare, at Mr Babcock’s office on the day of the consultation. We were stunned to find no sign of the lawyer in the multi residential and office building where Mr Babcock indeed has an office according to the building’s directory but he did not answer our calls or attempts to reach his office through the seemingly working intercom. Over a week later, we are yet to receive a phone call or email, or any attempts, by this man, to dignify the fact that we spent our gas money, our time and diligent efforts, during this very difficult time to uphold our end of the agreement to show up, on time for a consultation. Shame on you Mr Babcock!
