I was charged with 11351 HS. If I pled no contest or guilty My job of 18 years would be in danger. Not only did Mr Goldstein get my charges reduced from the sales of cocaine to a simple possession. He also convinced the DA and Judge to let me plea not guilty while completing the guidelines of Deferred Entry of Judgment (DEJ). His relationship with the judge and DA. Allowed me to dodge a huge bullet. This was amazing because in order to get this deal you have to plead guilty first. After completing the classes and yes community service my charges were dropped!!! Mr Goldstein saved me from going to jail, my job!!!!! And most important, no felony on my record. Life's roller coaster would lead me to call on the services of Mr Goldstein once again, this time for my 19year oldest son. My son Hassan was charged with Esty robbery. After I googled what the hell that was. I wasted no time calling my go to guy. This was a serious strike able offense. And there was no way I would let my son go to the LA County Jail or have a strike on his record. Mr Golden Goldstein got my son charges reduced to a 245 A4, Anger management, 45 days of community service, and probation. He also negotiated the charges to be reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor and exonerated after 12 months. Mr Goldstein was very involved in both cases and his constant communication made the whole process less stressful. My son said "his first meeting with Mr Goldstein to discuss his case made him feel like he was meeting with a friend not a lawyer". I believe his knowledge of the law and familiarity with the Judge's and DA's gives him an advantage other lawyers don't have. He gave me and my son a second chance at life. Thanks for your help. Me and my family are grateful for you and your excellent results.

I never thought that I would find myself needing a criminal defense attorney. After taking measures to protect my eight-year-old daughter from a perceived threat, I and two other community fathers were arrested, and I was subsequently charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon, with the intent to inflict great bodily injury. I did not know where to go, how to begin or with whom I should speak. After doing fastidious research, my wife and I found attorney Michael Goldstein and the Goldstein Law Group. From our very first meeting he displayed a meticulous attention to detail, masterful command of our legal system and, most importantly, a sincere desire to protect our interests and see the truth of our case brought to light.
It is amazing how quickly things can spiral out of control when facing legal trouble. I was staring at a felony charge for assault that carried with it up to seven years in prison. Never in my life did I think that those sorts of charges would be leveled at me. My head was spinning and I my entire reality seemed to be unraveling. This was especially trying because my EMT license, along with my 16-year career as a firefighter, hung in the balance.
Michael never doubted my innocence or the merits of our case. He bolstered my confidence in my darkest hours and displayed a constant and ceaseless willingness to fight for me. He reassured me that he would be by my side until the very end. He placed great importance in reiterating that fact to me. His constant reassurance gave my family and me a tremendous amount of comfort.
From the very beginning, he told me what a long and arduous process this could potentially be. He was not wrong. To date, we have appeared in court over 20 times in 18 months. He never made baseless or empty promises. In explaining to me the potential outcomes, he broke down my situation from a best case to a worst-case scenario. That kind of honesty is very hard to find, and was more than appreciated.
Had I been convicted of a felony, my ability to retain my job as a firefighter would have been lost, with no chance of ever returning to the profession that I love. Knowing this, he made it a top priority to save me not only from a felony and possible jail time, but also to save my career.
His knowledge and total understanding of the inner workings of the district attorney’s office was vital in seeing my felony charge reduced to a misdemeanor. He saved my job and my ability to provide for my family.
To that end, it was never about money with Michael. As the case progressed, I was placed on unpaid leave. Knowing that our family finances were becoming increasingly tight, he worked with us and stayed by our side every single day. Michael was compelled by compassion and his ethics never waivered.
His professional and tireless staff was always attentive and is also deserving of recognition. From his associate attorney Kian Magana to office manager Irma, his team takes pride in paying close attention to detail. The investigative team he retained for my case, Jon Perkins and Ian Grimes with the Perkins Investigative Group was absolutely incredible. They expertly conducted witness interviews that the prosecuting police agency neglected to conduct. They collected, organized and presented, along with Michael and his associate, Kian, exculpatory and mitigating evidence to the district attorney’s office that aided in leading to the reduction of my felony charge.
Michael Goldstein is a brilliant lawyer, but more than that, he is an incredible human being. I was facing the very real possibility of having to sell my home and leave the state, separating my children from their family here in California, in order to survive on an abridged income. Michael was relentless in my defense, and that tireless commitment to my case and his superb ability to articulate the facts ultimately resulted in a reduction of the charges that were initially filled. This outcome has saved my career.

Michael's established relationships with those on the other side were strong enough to resolve me case in a way others could not.

I would recommend Mr. Goldstein to anyone needing to fight a criminal case. In my situation it was a DUI. I was recommended to take AA meetings during the in between time before the final court day. He recommended I go to court with him for the final hearing, where he completely explained the process and what to expect. We went through the police report where he found a lot of errors, he then presented the errors to the DEA, asking for a dissmisal. We were then granted a Dry and reckless. I'm completely happy with my outcome. He worked extremely hard to fight my case and I'd say this is a win.

As parents, we had a personal crisis that required a family law expert. Michael came highly recommended from a former judge who is a close friend and understood the kind of help we needed.
Michael and I spoke and he immediately grasped the situation. From the outset he was kind, attentive, patient, demonstrated a thorough understanding of our situation and had advice on how to handle our case. He was aso available 24/7 (although we didn't abuse the privilege too often!).
In court, he was a consummate pro. He demonstrated an understanding of the system and had a way of dealing with the court officials that got them on our side and led to a successful outcome.
I recommend him highly.

We're so grateful to have found Michael Goldstein. He skillfully represented my husband on his second DUI, with BAC .of only .07-.08, seven years after his first with BAC just barely at .08. My husband doesn't drive "drunk" but did have wine at an event on both of these occasions. This was potentially a 2nd DUI on his record and with all of the terrible associated consequences. Michael listened well, fought hard for the best possible outcome (which my husband did receive), was direct and honest with us, and has the best, most responsive assistant ever! Highly recommend him.

It was a sunny day in LA when detectives came to my house and questioned me about an alleged assualt. I had never in my life been part of any crime or been questioned by the police let alone detectives. Anxiety, depression and confusion set in. I interviewed many lawyers until a friend recomended Michael Goldstein, he was calm, cool and honest and talked to me as a friend, I hired him on the spot. He was available 24/7 and his assitant was always around to help me with any questions. Michael and his profesional legal team worked around the clock to clear my name of any wrong doing. He was in touch with detectives and the D.A and my case was never filed, no charges, no arrest! If you want somone fighting for you when the whole world goes dark, make no mistake, Michael is your guy! Los Angeles best defense lawyer hands down.

Michael is a rare find. Unlike so many attorneys who only see dollar signs when talking to you or trying to get your business, Michael relates to you as a human being who may have made a mistake. He is understanding, compassionate and committed to helping his clients in anyway that he can. He`s also got a great sense of humor.(which can really help) I can`t recommend him enough!
