unorganized staff and poor attorney communication

When I was injured at work which is a government employee my Union referred and assigned me to mr. Singer to represent me. It has been a very long process and I have been stressed out because of poor communication and the fact that his staff is unorganized and is always a big turn around I believe I ...have had four separate paralegals assigned to my case. I just hope that the final results will change my view.

Client

I have a case with Mr. SINGER's office. I'm disabled and this case is now going on 5 years with nothing. I have received 2 years of gas reimbursements from going to doctors. I feel I am at the same place, when my case is first started. Every time I call I have a different Paralegal (anyone can be... labeled a Paralegal) and I feel like I am wasting my time. They promise to call back and never do. They can't tell me if they did what they promised they would do and cut you short. I'm ready to do a Star Bar complaint. I just want to know where they went wrong? I feel they aren't doing there job because this case should be done. I'm just praying I still have a case because of legal proceedings that must be complete. Not sure, but I need to find out because I feel like something isn't done.

Stop letting amatuers handle my case

I handled Mr. Singer because he had a reputation for being very knowledgeable workers comp. lawyer. But, after he took my case, he handed my case off to a non-lawyer (Sophia) who I can barely understand. She's not a lawyer and I find it impossible to get a hold of Ed. He sends Sophia to court for ...him though she's not a lawyer. When I hired Ed, I expected a lawyer to handle my injury case not someone "paralegal".. Sophia hardly even speaks English.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
