Will not represent you. Will cause you to suffer many years of suffering.

I've been his client for over 11 years since 2011.With trusting this individual with his promise to settle my workers compensation case,I've made the worst mistake in my life in trusting him & his employees. I've lost everything, meaning my health, wellbeing, savings, home, truck, ability to support my fa...mily,all because this man refuses to do what he was hired to do.He will make promises to good to be true. I've had a co-worker which was injured on the job,yet has his $300,000. + life time medical in just 3 months. He has caused my life so much turmoil because he would rather bow down to the insurance company.A man without the guts to fight for his clients. When he mistreats you in any way, file a complaint with California state bar, they need to hear about his behavior towards his clients.Maybe it's time for another complaint,it might do the job this time. All thanks to judge π<

The worst attorney in L.A.

Do not hire Singer or you''ll regret. Read the reviews his L.A, Yelp listing has; it's the attorney with most 1 star reviews throught L.A. In a few words I am ruined thanks to Singer; he lied to me and handle my case very dishonestly and did not even show to a court date. He also forged my signature... in two occasions and "forgot"to mail me the payment for the peanuts he was able to get for me after 2 years of expensive litigation.

I TRUST HIM!!!

I've been with Mr. Singer since 2007..... This case has been drawn out due to my previous employers lack of accountability. I appreciate the fact that Ed has been consistent and continues to fight the fight for me to get what is right.... A lot of other Attorneys would have told me to give up and ac...cept the measly settlement they have offered, believe me I've been tempted because it's been a long road of B.S. However, because he believes what they have done is wrong and discriminatory towards me, he continues to battle for me and my greater good without having received a red cent, and for that I am truly grateful! I appreciate that he is available to discuss things via telephone, or in the office, although sometimes it is a few weeks out, but I understand. I have entrusted him to handle my case and I let him do his work, and know that I will be notified of any pertinent information. However, I am not one that needs to be updated daily on the status because I know my previous employer is dragging their feet on the whole thing, they are a government agency after all. Sooooo, thank you Ed for your continued support and determination regarding my case!!!

RUN AWAY FROM THIS GUY IMMEDIATELY AND BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!!!

I'm the former Client of Mr. Singer. Mr. Singer poorly represented me in my workers compensation cases. I would agree with all those 4 reviews out of 5 that Mr. Singer's former clients have posted on Avvo.com. In addition, I would like to add that Mr. Singer failed to obtain me the mileage expenses f...rom defendants in the past several months (half a year approx.). Also, he failed to obtain me the correct TTD rate from defendants. Furthermore, he did not communicate with me about my QME appointments prior to my appointments. Nor, he answered/returned my phone calls. He did not reply to my emails despite I made numerous follow ups and despite several months have passed. He did not produce the copy of my file despite I made numerous requests. Most importantly speaking he sent his representative to a Court hearing without my authorization as an professional licensed lawyer. After I complained and questioned about this he retaliated against me. He agreed with defendants on a QME doctor to have my rheumatological conditions evaluated which doctor in fact specialized in internal medicine. As per the numerous court documents it appears that Mr. Singer was not working on my cases with diligence. Moreover, he scheduled a meeting with defendants about settling my case without informing me of this. On the day of the meeting he started to represent me the interests of defendants but on the expense of my retainer. After I refused to settle my medical treatment and after I complained about his representation of defendants Mr. Singer refused to represent me and retaliated for the same. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND MR. SINGER TO INJURED WORKERS.

"I endorse this lawyer. Ed really knows worker's compensation law and procedure. He's respected among his peers as well as judges. He works to get injured workers the medical treatment and compensation they deserve under Worker's Compensation law. I've referred cases to Ed with positive results. I strongly endorse him. Sincerely, Alan"

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
