I was involved in a hit and run in 2015. My car was left damaged and I suffered bodily injuries including a concussion and lasting spinal injuries. The driver fled on foot, leaving their vehicle behind. After 2 months we were able to track down a driver and insurance policy. The driver’s insurance co...mpany made me feel like I was making up injuries and downplaying the whole thing. They tried to dismiss everything for pennies as well. The damage was to the rear of my vehicle and from directly behind you could see it was hit, but not as much as if you looked from the side and saw the car was a foot shorter. Anyways, the driver’s insurance sent me a black and white lo-res photo from the back stating that the damage was minimal and that there’s no way I could have the injuries I was claiming. It was at this point I started researching how to find a lawyer as I knew there was going to be no other way. I spent the next 6-8 weeks researching and narrowed down to a few candidates. I chose Max because not only did he have great reviews but he was extremely attentive during our meeting and was extremely personable. He walked me through everything and made sure I was comfortable with everything and the possibility of a long timeline before moving forward. We figured out what the case was worth and went after the insurance for that amount. The entire case took short of 3 years because of the opposing counsel refusing to settle and continually delaying the case. As time went on the settlement offers slowly increased, but they were still miles short of where we were. Max repeatedly told me that at any point I felt I needed to take the money and end the case he was 100% behind me on it. About a month before the trial the offers were coming in around 75-85% of what we were demanding. Now I will say at this point both sides would have been well off, but max again told me that he was willing to go as far as I wanted to and still had my back. It was a true testament to his character and how he really did want to do what I wanted and not what a typical lawyer would do to get a quick buck and run. A week before trial they settled for full ask and I couldn’t be happier. I feel like I’m the end I not only had an excellent attorney but that I gained a friend. Max will be my first call should I ever need those services in the future.

This review is many years overdue, and the only reason I have waited so long is because I just wanted to erase him from my memory completely. It hasn't worked. I met Max after I was involved in a serious car accident. At that time I had no idea that I would still be suffering repercussions from ...this event going on 8 and a half years later. I suffered very significant spinal injuries, and the trauma of working him only exacerbated a very stressful time. I won't go into incredible detail, but my experience with Max was that he fully lived up to the negative reputation of PI attorneys. He lied to me, repeatedly. He was impossible to get ahold of, and always had some kind of emergency. He would leave me hanging at very important times, like right before a deposition! He pretended to care about my case, and came off as friendly and genuine, and yet something in me repeatedly told me to fire him. I didn't listen. I didn't know my rights, and I was suffering immensely from the severity of injuries I was dealing with, so it seemed easier to forego my intuition and just try to trust him. At the end of the case I settled my own liens because he was not doing it. He did almost nothing for my case but took a third of my settlements. He did not live up to his end of our agreement at all. After everything I had been through I just didn't have any fight left in me during the statute of limitations for a fee dispute. I hope he has improved since I worked with him, but I can’t at all recommend his services based on my awful experience.
