A friend recommended Mr. Bouknight to me and I am so glad he did ! Mr. Bouknight was so kind and professional from the first time I called for a consultation. The way he explained everything to me put me at ease. I am very pleased with Mr. Bouknight and the service he provided and I am so lucky I wor...ked with him for my naturalization application. I would NOT recommend him

I married my husband on May of 2018. Due to his special circumstances, I researched many immigration lawyer in Las Vegas that can help me with the immigration process. I picked Wycuie Bouknight as my lawyer because he had 26 years of experience in immigration law and he was a Chief Counsel for the Im...migration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). I had a meeting with Bouknight about our case and he seemed confident that he could make it work. My husband is a convicted sex offender and he falls under the Adam Walsh Act (A law that requires me to prove without a reasonable doubt that he is not a danger to me). He recommended me to get many documentation we needed to help with our case. I provided hundreds of photos, support letters, multiple psychosexual evaluation, completion of behavioral therapy, etc….. We filed for I-130, I-485, and I-765 on June of 2018. Few months later, we got a notice from USCIS for an intent to deny letter due to Walsh Adam issues. We sent in all the required evidence and photos a few weeks later. Now the Issues I have with Wycuie Bouknight: *Very hard to get a response from him (Might takes days… to get a call back) *The angry response he gives you when you ask him about the case time *His knowledge of current immigration law and fees (He asked for employment card application fee-renewal but the fee was returned by USCIS since the cost was $0). He did later return the money after I inquired about the matter. *I was getting a vibe that he didn’t care about our case after he has been paid. *He said he worked very hard on this case, but if you look at his work… (I COULD HAVE DONE BETTER) He literally made 1 paper stating what’s in the paperwork and few sentences on why this case should be approved. Are you freaking kidding me? I can’t believe I paid $5000 for 1 piece of paper and his name… DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE After 2 years later, we finally got a I-485 denied letter from USCIS. I met with Bouknight the following day for consultation. I agreed to file for I-290B since we didn’t receive the I-130 denied letter. On that same day, I received the I-130, so I decided to meet the next day for another consultation. After talking with Wycuie Bouknight, I told him I needed to talk to my husband about the matter since he wanted to file the EOIR-29. After talking to my husband for couple days, we decided we should find a lawyer that has more experience in this matter. We called and let Wycuie Bouknight know that we will be hiring a different lawyer for I-290B and EOIR-29. Hopefully this review will help others in which immigration lawyer they should go with.

Efficient!

It has been a smooth process since the start and up to the change of immigration status interview. Step by step instructions and most important one on one video conferencing and preparation for interview. He was always available for any concerns and questions, open door policy and a friendly smile.

Great,Knowledgeable,Friendly

It's my honor to have Attorney Wycuie Bouknight who handled my case coz I've been here in the US for more than 15 years as a Permanent Residents and never tried to apply for naturalization the reason was I might not pass the test and one day, my wife's friend told me about Attorney Wycuie Bouknight I... was convinced I called him and when I spoke to him he encouraged me and explained about naturalization very clearly I felt very comfortable when I consulted him I told to myself this is it, this is an excellent lawyer inspite of being friendly and humble. In short, I just have my test done with the presence of Attorney Bouknight who flew all the way from CT to Hawaii just to be with me on the day of my test , soon I'm going to have my oath taking.Thank you Attorney Wycuie Bouknight for the excellent service for me and God Bless you of being a very kindhearted person MAHALO!!!

Great lawyer!!!

Immigration is very complicate and each individual’s case is so different. It’s wise to find a good lawyer, which can make the whole process go through smoothly and successfully. When I had immigration issue, I was very confused and had no idea how to handle everything. I knew I need a lawyer to help... but there were so many advertisements from all kinds of lawyers, who I should trust, who is the one really care about my case? After knowing my situation, one of my friend recommended Wycuie-Bouknight to me. I did concern about the inconvenience to hire a lawyer who lived so far away from me. After I first talked to him on the phone, I could feel his confidence and enthusiasm about his work. I could also feel his concern about others. I viewed his Linkedln profile and personal website, I knew he had lots of experience in immigration, so I decided to let him handle my case. After we started working on my case, the distance was not a problem at all. He told me what documents I need to prepare step by step, on the phone or through email. If I have any questions, Wycuie was always very patient to answer. In order to prepare well for my interview, he helped me find an interpreter and make sure I had everything ready for it. My case was not easy, I was worried that the process may last for years but with Wycuie’s help, I got my status in just 3 months! I also got my SSN, work permit. Like the other Americans, I can legally work, go to school, pursuit my dream in this County. I’m really grateful about Wycuie’s help, he is a great lawyer whom you should definitely trust. As his customer, I highly recommend him to all the people who are struggling about immigration issue. I’m very confident that Wycuie can help you make things so much easier.

"I endorse this lawyer. I've known Wycuie personally and professionally for about 10 years, on "the other side" when he worked for DHS and as a colleague when he resumed solo practice. As an ICE trial attorney in Honolulu he was reasonable and compassionate. As a solo he's developed a great reputation and he knows his stuff. He's a powerful advocate who thinks outside the box for the best results for his clients."

"I endorse this lawyer. I have known Wycuie for many years. He used to be an Assistant Chief Counsel for the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). He was a tough lawyer to go up against, but always fair to deal with. He has succeeded in transitioning to private practice. When I talk to him, he has great passion for his clients. He is a great immigration lawyer. He not only has a strong knowledge of immigration law, but his background from working at ICE gives him a unique perspective on his cases. What I like most about Wycuie is that he always has a smile on his face and it's always a pleasure talking to him."
