Great Attorney

Attorney Laurie represented me in my divorce. Never once did I doubt I was in the best possible hands. Phone calls were returned without delay, and I was updated on a weekly basis. I'd recommend Attorney Laurie to anyone that is looking for an attorney that goes the extra mile without hesitation.

Lifelong respect

I grew up with Laurie and have had a high level of respect for her both as a friend and neighbor and as a lawyer. Laurie recently helped me navigate through the challenges of creating a Living Trust, Power of Attorney and Healthcare plan. After recently loosing my mom I realized the importance of having all of this in place for my son. Thank you Laurie for making the process easy to understand and one that helped me put everything in place for the future.

I have been working with Atty. Giles for the past 2 plus Years. My mother was suffering from dementia and Atty. Giles had all of the right answers and advice. Having dealt with her own parents with elder care I felt very comfortable of the fact that she new the ins and outs of this degree of care. Excellent Elder Law

I used Attorney Giles to get my brother on Medicaid. She and her Paralegal got the job done in only 3 months. I couldn’t believe how fast. Attorney Giles has lots of experience in Elder Law and really cares about the elderly as well .

In 2017, I was searching for a divorce attorney who had the qualifications and a humanistic approach, when I came upon Laurie Giles website. There were many recommendations from prior clients who were satisfied with her service. Additionally, she made the process affordable by offering a payment plan. When I met with Laurie for our initial consultation, she immediately put me at ease and listened to my objectives and strategy, in order to facilitate a smooth transition throughout the divorce process. In the second meeting, Laurie had a plan of action and walked me through the power point presentation she had customized using our prior discussion points. She is an excellent listener and communicator. My divorce was handled professionally and expediently. Never disappointed

After reading Attorney Giles review, I decided to hire her to represent me in my divorce. My situation was quite a tough one but Laurie kept it all under control in a professional way. I avoided trial due to her expertise in negotiations. I will highly recommend her service. Everything I read about her was true. My expectations were exceeded. And as an added bonus, you could sign up for a payment plan.

Highly recommend Laurie

I hired Laurie 11 years ago when I was going through my divorce. Hiring an attorney at that time can scary because you are so vulnerable. It was one of the best decisions I've made. Never once did I feel she did not have my or my children's best interest as a primary focus. Her knowledge and compassion kept me focused on what was important. Having had a mother that was diagnosed with Alzheimers I learned first hand the importance of preparing financially. Laurie once again guided me through the process helping me prepare my estate and make Healthcare decisions so my children would not have to. Most recently worked with Laurie regarding a business issue. I have referred Laurie to personal friends and my own clients and will continue to do so. Something I don't do lightly. As a bad referral reflects on me. Every person has come back to thank me.

Divorce lawyers

I hired Laurie Giles to represent me in my divorce. I found her to be extremely professional as well as very sensitive to my situation. What I admired about Attorney Giles was her attention to detail. Her prompt return phone calls to me, as well as our many meetings. We managed to come to terms within a timely manor. Can't recommend Attorney Laurie Giles

I hired Attorney Laurie Giles for my divorce. It was highly contentious and she knew this when I hired her. Laurie Giles doesn't work on Fridays, and the office closes each day at 3;30pm. If you need an attorney on Fridays and after 3:30 she is not available and the office is closed. This caused severe issues for me during my divorce proceedings. On our first court hearing all parties arrived at 9:30AM, Attorney Laurie Giles arrived at 11AM, and claimed she arrived at the correct time and she claimed all concerned parties arrived too early for the hearing. This caused the hearing to be postponed. I have witnessed on three occasions, Attorney Laurie Giles storming out of critical negotiations after becoming enraged at the lack of progress. I found this extremely unprofessional and quite disturbing. For these reasons I can't recommend Attorney Laurie Giles.

Robert, I can understand your frustration, your divorce has lingered in the court system 3X as long as the typical divorce, and you have had multiple attorneys. I take client confidentiality very seriously and for that reason would never address the specifics of your matter in this forum. One of your major points of contention is our office hours. Our hours are set for the convenience of clients. M-T- W 7:30 am - 3:30 and Thursday 7:30 am - 7:30pm. We have found that many clients find it difficult to come to the office for meetings during the 9-5 workday: We offer appointments before and after hours. Phone calls and emails are returned every day until 5:30 pm and Fridays and until noon as necessary: urgent issues. I am sorry this did not work for you. As you will remember you (as well as all clients) receive an email every Monday morning letting you know you status of your case and what day that week we will be working on your case. This allows clients to make an appointment for an in-person or phone conference for that day or the late night to discuss any issues. I wish you the best in your divorce action, and sincerely hope you will find an attorney who is the right fit and with whom you can work well.
