I hired Rogena the beginning of February to file my bankruptcy case and my case is not filed! I did everything myself basically so I don’t understand the delay. She never responds to my email, scheduled calls never go happened, and her assistant always say she not unavailable. I wish I would have nev...er trusted her to take my case!

Paid legal fees for a simple BK case that was initiated over a year ago. This process should have been completed within 4 to 6 months tops. Case is still not filed and she doesn't give straight forward answers about dates and timelines. She is very unresponsive, does not return phone calls in a time...ly manner, nor respond to emails. Phone number on her website goes to voicemail 100 percent of the time. Most contact with her is via email, where weeks may go by before she responds. She took my money and the case is still not filed. Warning: Do Not Hire Her! If there was a negative zero stars she would would definitely qualify.

Rogena Atkinson is a professional and personable attorney. Working with her was always a pleasure. She always answered each and every email and kept me up to date on the status of my case. Bankruptcy isn't a thing to be proud of, but Rogena always made me feel comfortable and from the filing period u...p to receiving my discharge she was always available to assure me things were okay. Absolute no respect for her clients Terrible, terrible, terrible communication. Simply would not provide basic information on case status. This was consistent throughout the duration of the process. When confronted about her lack of communication, she became defensive. She was only prompt in th...e cashing of checks. She did complete the bankruptcy. However, after the case was discharged, no effort from her to follow up or even ensure I received a copy of the discharge. Never heard from her once. No email, no calls, not even a text. Stay away from this "lawyer". She has no place in a customer/client based profession.
