Omg I can not believe that I did not review her now I feel so dumb after reading what everyone has said. She has done the same thing to me. She took my money almost a year and a half ago and never got any where with my simple BK 7! She does not get back to me at all said she would reissue my check an...d mail it out and still has not do not hire her at all she is very unprofessional and rude! I am reporting her to the state bar as we speak.

My gut said don't hire her. Her ad said 700.00 plus filing fee simple BK 7, so I made an appointment to talk with her, she said if I was not going to be available for our phone consult please let her know, however, I was available at the scheduled time but ended up waiting and waiting and waiting,... called twice, was told she was running late, Id receive my consult shortly. 1 hour 20 minutes after our scheduled time I finally received the call at which I had to then reschedule. Fast forward, I'm now talking to her the next day, no apology for missing entirely our scheduled appointment, and her fee doubled from what the web site said, in fact, I screenshot the ad, thank god I did, because she removed it when I asked her how it doubled. She has three different locations but will state she is based out of San Antonio, and it's not an issue for her to make to Austin, or Houston for a hearing as she drives all the time. If you can't make a phone appointment on time, not apologize, double your fees, how am I do trust you will represent me or even show up?

I hired Rogena in March 2018 it is now Oct 2018 and my simple BK chapter 7 is still not filed :(... I've tried to give her the benefit of the doubt as she seemed friendly and knowledgeable at first but now I'm starting to regret using her services and hoping I've not been ripped off. She is very very... spotty in replying to emails, when you call her number no one ever answers and when she calls you her number is private. Latest email from her said something like she was maybe filling 1st or 2nd week in Oct... today started the 3rd week...I'm gonna email her tomorrow hopefully she'll respond...had I known it would be like this I would have NEVER used her. Initially she seemed really caring but she's since proven to be very unprofessional and a procrastinator. I understand she has more than just me as a client and why I've tried to be patient but my case should be done by now...I wish I would've read reviews no matter how nice she seemed...please think twice before going with her. I'm only posting anonymously because she's still over my case for now and I don't need any further problems. If my case isn't filed by end of October I'm firing her and hope I can get some money back (not holding my breath)

I never saw the lawyer I paid Rogena Atkinson the first time I saw a attorney was the day of my hearing. and it wasnt Rogena Atkinson. I paid her 2000 for my bankruptcy case in 2009 and it is 2013 and I am still cleaning up her mess. When I call her office or email her know one returns my call. I hav...e now found out I have a lien on my house from a judgement that was suppose to be handled by her office. My house was never reaffirmed and I was spoken to as is I was ignorant.
