If you’re going to hire this guy make sure you write down all your concerns and questions so you can remember to ask ALL of them at the initial consultation. Once you sign that contract and hand over your hard earned money, he isn’t so quick to actually work for it anymore. The most work you will l...ikely get from this attorney is BEFORE you pay him. After that your calls, texts and emails will go unanswered, requests will be blatantly ignored. You probably won’t even meet him until he shows up in court ... IF he shows up. And don’t expect him to actually fight for you or put your best interests above his own. He’s a lawyer, not a super hero. He doesn’t care about you or your family or seeing that justice is served. His only concern is his bottom line.... maximum payout with minimal effort. Just because they know the law doesn’t mean they live by it, remember that. Real talk... this clown is about as useful as a poopy flavored lollipop. Completely useless. I could have saved my money and represented myself and got the same deal, he literally did nothing. I retained Mr. Sheets to represent my husband who was charged with first probation violation. I spoke with Mr Sheets via telephone about the circumstances underlying my husband's arrest and was told for him to represent my husband at his probation revocation hearing and see it through til sentencing ...would cost me $1200 well, $1400 if I paid in two payments. Which I only paid $700 of the fee. I don't know if it's because of that that Mr Sheets and his team paralegals... One in particular... Named Brenden. I was treated as if I was some kind of low life that didn't understand what was going on with the case. I made attempts numerous attempts to contact Mr Sheets to discuss what would happen in court and each time I got his office assistant who said they would give him a message to call me back, but not once during that whole time was I given any type of response. I had the unpleasant experience of dealing with his paralegal Brenden who in the last conversation told me and I quote him" I'm done with going back and forth with the same questions and I will not continue to have further conversations regarding this matter because you only paid up to the sentencing of your husband's case and so we can't do anything further for you, oh but here's a phone number to someone else that may assist your issue." He made me feel so belittled and really worthless of a person who I was only seeking help and support or answers to my questions about my husband's case. So here's what ended up happening...the judge reinstated his probation which I feel now that a public defender could have gotten him a better deal seeing as other inmates in similar situation were given house arrest and was able to go home, but not sure why Mr Sheets couldn't have did better than 3 months inpatient treatment at West are later getting the judge to agree to allow him to be released to an alternative treatment center Freedom House at which I was left to do all the footwork in getting there only later discovering that he wasn't able to attend the program in which the judge ordered. So I was so lost and fed up with what Mr Sheets and his team leaving me alone to find a solution. He has been locked up since 3/29/19. Been back and forth to court and This last court appearance was on 6/26/19 by which judge ordered for him to be released to Freedom House and it is now 8/14/19. ( Hubbys bday btw) and NOTHING!!! He's still in jail just sitting there with no answers no help no out date or even a clue as to what's going on. The law team of Mr Sheets basically told me screw yourself and your husband and our kids because I only paid up for the measly time and that was it. Goodbye and good ridens!! I am left hopeless and feelings hurt by this frustration this law office has left to handle on my own. I have a good cause as to not paying in full!!!!

I was accused of forcing sex for rent and beating a roommate, and I didn't do it. I was arrested and hired Damian. He fought to get a deal from the DA, but they weren't having it, and we had to go to trial. Boy am I glad I hired Damian. In trial, he was vicious and fought like hell. He called her... out on every lie and did such a good job during the DA's case that he didn't even need to call a single witness to get a not guilty verdict. Does not take cases seriously due to high volume. Initially, you can reach Damian because he is looking for to retain you. After that, you will have go thru his rude secretaries to relay messages that will surely go unresponded. Without diving into specific details, he forgot to call me prior to my c...ourt date. He ignored over 30 messages I sent to him between email and texts. He lied about changing his number when approached. He plays dumb when confronted and gives advice that conflicts with more seasoned attorneys. Will be reporting to the Bar. As far as results, he will do what's convenient for him and not go all the way with bargaining with prosecutors. He will take first deal handed to him and then convince you (thru his secretaries) that this was the best viable option. Please consider another attorney in handling your life changing matter.
