john higgins was already representing one person in an automobile accident were there was an off duty police detective involved in this wreck and the report was falsified. john had called me and i was told he was legally able to do this, he wanted to represent me.i did not know any better so i let him represent me. after several of his actions didnt seem right to me, i started contacting other lawyers to verify my thoughts and turned out i was correct. after higgins found out i contacted someone else, he became upset with me. later that day he ended the contract with me. higgins still has some of my paper work that he refuses to return to me. he has told me that i never gave him the originals when i know i did. higgins has also lied to me on a few different occasions. i know i cant make him change, but hopefully i can keep some people from being done wrong any further.

Melton came in to my office and was referred to me by someone who was involved in a car accident. It was explained to Melton that I would investigate his claim. I had Melton sign informed consent in writting which stated specifically that there could be a confict of interest by my representation, but that he was willing to waive that. Melton's behavior became bizarre, and was troubling. He became very abusive to me and my staff verbally, and made threats. I determined that I was not able to perform my duties for him. I had Melton come to my office to retrieve his original documents. I also had him sign a release, which he read, stating that he received the paper work in question. This clients review should be disregarded as untrue. I kept a close paper trail on Melton because his behavior made me and my staff anxious, and we felt that he could pose a threat to our safety. I did everything ethically, and by the book. It is unfortunate that he has made this claim, and used this forum to try to make me look as though I acted improper, when I did not.
