Michael Rex Shumway

I am writing to express serious concerns regarding the professional conduct and ethical standards demonstrated by Michael during his tenure with Randle and Palmer. Unfortunately, it has become evident that Michael lacks integrity and respect for ethical principles. Throughout his time with the com...pany, his behavior raised significant doubts about his honesty and reliability. To put it bluntly, if there were a rating for deception, he would undoubtedly earn five stars, as he exhibited a remarkable ability to mislead and be untruthful. Michael was compensated over $5,000 for services that, in reality, amounted to little more than inaction and disengagement. His approach to his responsibilities was disappointing and unprofessional, ultimately culminating in his abrupt termination. From the beginning to the end of his employment, his conduct was consistently questionable and unsatisfactory in every regard. Given these experiences, I strongly advise considering alternative candidates if you are contemplating hiring Michael. Engaging someone with such a track record could pose significant risks to your organization's reputation and operational effectiveness.

In Arizona, there are two ways to have rights to your children. First is by being married at the time of birth, and the second is to have rights established by a judge. I was an unmarried father facing the inevitable after a toxic relationship and an even more toxic breakup. I had tried for a coup...le of years to be cordial and coparent without going to court. Unfortunately people are people… and things change. Original agreement I had with my ex was 50/50 pre court and she had essentially stripped me of communication and the ability to see my son. I hired Michael and Heather after the initial consultation due to their prompt response, my need for a lawyer quickly, and because I had faith in what they told me. Facing a custody fight is stressful enough, I cannot imagine doing this without representation. We got to the point on a rule 47 hearing where I was able to not only establish paternity, but also 50/50 and joint LDM. I think we are about halfway through the process (maybe more but this isn’t a world I’m familiar with), but I have the utmost faith in my representation to get me through whatever comes next. I would not only highly recommend Michael Shumway and his Wife Heather - I would challenge someone to find representation that is as dedicated to their clients. They represented me, calmed my nerves, and treated me like a person, not just another case file. I know that if I need help in the future they will be there.
