About Michael
Biography
Prior to joining RPA, Michael had a successful career both in government and the private sector. A sixth-generation Arizona native, Michael graduated summa cum laude with his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona. After two years teaching high school in his hometown of Winslow, Arizona, he attended The James E. Rogers College of Law where he also graduated summa cum laude—finishing sixth in his class of nearly 150.
After clerking for Justice Robert Brutinel on the Arizona Supreme Court, Michael has practiced as a family law attorney, private criminal defense attorney, and as a prosecutor. Michael has handled both civil, criminal, and family law appeals, He has submitted brief to the Arizona Supreme Court, Arizona Court of Appeals, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appels. Michael hs successfully argued cases before the Arizona Supreme Court and teh Arizona Court of Appeals.
Michael has more than a decade of experience in both trial and appellate litigation. When not working, you’ll find him coaching one of his kids’ sports teams or rooting for the Arizona Wildcats.
