Tom was referred to me by my step-father and his financial broker as an estate lawyer that I could use to handle my mother's estate upon the death of my step-father. I took their advice and began consulting with Tom after my step-father passed away. He set up my mother's estate, wills and powers of... attorney for me. Upon my mother's death he handled all of the transfers of money and other holdings in conjunction with my financial broker and accountant. All of this went smoothly and did not require probate. My wife and I have since used Tom to set up our estate planning and wills. We are extremely happy with where we are at with our estate planning. Tom is working in conjunction with our accountant and new financial manager. Also, our new financial manager has recommended Tom to participate in one of their programs they offer to their clients. They have fed back to me how thorough he is in setting up clients estates and his ability and willingness to coordinate with them and out accountant. He has also been available whenever we needed him. Tom has also kept us informed in changes in the law that concern our estate and has helped us modify our estate planning as we have grown older to meet our needs and our benefactors needs.

Mr Bouman prepared my Estate Trust and I was more than pleased with the finished product. Every situation that might arise was covered and I feel totally comfortable my estate will be carried out per my wishes. Tom was very instructive as he went throught the ins and outs of what was required for my wife and I to create a revocable living Trust for our family. He spent several hours with us and made sure we understood exactly what the state of Arizona law required in a living trust. His explanations were ...clear and very easily understood. We new exactly what we had to do to provide him the data that he needed to create the document set. Tom also meets with us every year to review our trust and instruct us on changes in the law and what the impacts are on our specific living trust. He is a pleasure to work with and we recommend him if you are interested in setting upa revocable living trust.

Being old(er) and having been the victim several times of dishonesty when seeking any kind of professional help; I am very afraid/hesitant of many business professionals. Tom was recommended to me by a dear friend that I trust. After contacting him to make changes on a trust prepared for me shortly... after the death of my husband; I learned almost immediately that he was a warm, personable, and understanding gentleman with a lot of knowledge, professionalism, and expertise in his field. I was also to learn very quickly that Tom is not only excellent in what he does, but his compassion and honesty outweigh his desire to be concerned about fees. Tom initially was going to "look at & check out & possibly make a change or two" to a trust that I had already had prepared by someone local to me. When he read the trust, he called me and was very open with his assessment of what he was looking at. It was obvious that my greatest fear of getting someone to do a job properly had been fulfilled by the individual who did that initial trust. Tom quoted me a price to "look over" my trust and when he actually saw it, he knew that if I died, my children would be facing a nightmare with what had. Tom told me that he would totally rewrite my trust the way that I wanted it, one that would hold up in the courts, and that he would be there to back it all up when the time came to put the trust into action. With this information, he also informed me that since he had already quoted me a price for the initial review and minor changes to my trust, he would not charge me anything extra to do the entire document over. I had recently become a widow and my income was/is definitely not exciting as I live on SS. Tom had no way of knowing what my financial status was when he offered to do this for me at the initial quoted price. His compassion having seen what had happened to me with the first trust and his desire to help me exceeded his desire to claim a greater fee. It's been over a year now since Tom put my trust together and he has contacted me as a routine follow-up to be sure that everything is current. I, in fact, do have a change to be made that has come up over this past year, and I am absolutely delighted to know that Tom is there to take care of whatever it is that I need. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an attorney in his field as you will not find a more down-to-earth, kind, honest, professional, and experienced person to do the job. I live approximately 2-1/2 hours from his office and I would willing make that drive if and when necessary.
