Biography
My son, a former CPA, and I have a small Scottsdale, Arizona, two lawyer law firm called KEYTLaw, LLC. We prepare wills and trusts and form LLCs and nonprofit corporations. We have formed 9,200+ Arizona limited liability companies and 430+ nonprofit corporations because we do a fabulous job and are way cheaper than a national document preparer for similar formation services.

Until 2001, I was a partner at one of the largest law firms in Arizona where they liked to charge high hourly rates and big legal fees. I left for several reasons:
- My clients were small businesses and people who do not like paying lawyers high hourly rates to be inefficient.
- I wanted to shift my practice to billing primarily by fixed fees rather than hourly rates.
- I wanted to use technology to be more productive and efficient, charge lower fixed fees, but make more because of doing higher volume.
- I wanted to market primarily through the internet, which the big firm opposed.
Before law school, I was in the United States Air Force for six years. I was fortunate to have flown the F-4 Phantom supersonic fighter-bomber for five years, including combat missions over North Vietnam, South Vietnam and Laos in 1972. I've been married to my college sweetheart since 1972. We have three wonderful kids. My son, Richard C. Keyt, is a former CPA who graduated from ASU's law school and is an attorney in my KEYTLaw, LLC, law firm. My oldest daughter is a Southwest Airlines flight attendant whose husband is a Southwest pilot. She is the mother of three of our four grandchildren. My youngest daughter Kate is a social media expert with two young children.

I spoke with Richard Jounior and he was knowledgeable and helpful. My paperwork was filed with the state the day after we talked. The paperwork was thorough and very fast. The follow up calls and emails they have made were also appreciated. Great service!

Great for getting your LLC started
I have used this firm numerous times to form corporations in Arizona and have found everyone to be friendly and knowledgeable. After having past issues with partners, I was directed in a way that really fit my needs.

Very Unprofessional
I was recommended to Keyt Law for a small piece of real estate work. Throughout my interactions with them, I found them to be very unresponsive by both phone and e-mail with me having to constantly call and e-mail them to find out the status of my work. Replied last January 4, 2014I know the person who posted this review. He posted it the day after I repeated to him what my attorney son had previously told him - we declined to do any work for him The reviewer was never a client of mine and got mad because I refused to work for him. The fact he posted his review confirms to me that I made the right decision in refusing to represent the man.
