I went for a consult and was told exactly what he felt he could do for me. It all sounded great almost to good. When I was informed of the cost I did not think that I would be able to afford his services but with a little help I was thankfully able to pay his fees. There was one small hiccup with a miscommunication but that really turned out for the best in the end. I had to be represented because the first time I spoke with a judge alone I was treated very poorly and disrespected. He would not even listen to what I had to say and believed every lie told about me. Thankfully Mr. Bays listened to me and worked diligently to help me get my son home where he belongs. All in all I feel that I was well represented and any issue I had with him was resolved completely. If and when I need to represented again I will defently hire him again to be my voice in the courtroom. The staff at Bays Law were always respectful, courteous, kind and helpful. They helped to make sure that I had everything in order for all of my hearings and Mr. Bays delivered everything he said that he would be able to do. He really went to bat for me when it counted and even managed to do what seemed impossible until he managed to get it done. I would have liked a little more communication but that would of just been to settle my nerves on such an important issue. I will recommend his services to anyone who asks and will hire his firm in the future for all family law issues. Thank you Mr. Bays and staff at Bays Law!

I hired Bays Law to represent me during a Child Support case. Although, I didn’t get everything that I wanted in the case I believe the outcome was much better. I am totally happy with the results of the case. I came out paying much less and more visitation time with my son.

I live in MA and had to make a modification of a divorce filed in AZ. Atty Bays and his firm were key to making my modification requests a reality. All was done over phone and email and the responsiveness they showed me every time I sent a communication was first rate. Definitely a first rate firm.

I was referred to Bays Law by some friends of mine. I was skeptical at first but I was in need of immediate services due to being served documents for a Relocation/Custody Hearing and an Order of Exparte’. I was due in court for the Order of Exparte’ four days after receiving the paper work. I contacted Mr. Bays’ office and was given an appointment immediately. I explained my situation to Mr. Bays at our initial meeting. He asked me to gather witnesses and to prepare statements over the weekend. My witnesses and I wrote and turned in our statements the following day. Mr. Bays was able to get the Order of Exparte’ dismissed with one day to prepare the documents. With two months to prepare for my Relocation/Custody Hearing, Mr. Bays explained what he needed from me to include documents that could be used in my case. Mr. Bays along with his secretary Debbie kept in constant contact via email and phone through the entire process. Mr. Bays was well prepared with the evidence I presented as well as my ex’s evidence and knew exactly where to find any information that was asked during the proceedings. Mr. Bays was always one step ahead of my ex’s attorney. Mr. Bays was able to use evidence presented by my ex and use it against her to our advantage. Overall I was impressed by Mr. Bays’ professionalism in the court room. Two days in court and 58 days later, the judge’s verdict came back. I was called into Mr. Bays’ office to discuss the verdict. It was then, he told me that we had won the case and congratulated me with a handshake. I cannot thank Mr. Bays enough for what he has done for my daughter and I. I am now the primary custodial parent of my child and she will be living with me from now on.

My husband had already retained the services of a local attorney known to be aggressive in divorce proceedings, so I knew that I was going to need to find the best. Randy did not disappoint. From the very beginning, he was both knowledgeable and comforting. He understands family law, does research, and doesn’t promise anything, but gives a reasonable picture of what to expect both in terms of the process and the outcome. I also appreciated the flat fee structure. I didn’t have to worry about being charged for every question that I had. My ex spent twice as much on legal fees. Either Randy or his staff responded quickly to all emails and phone calls. Debbie, the paralegal, was great!

I was faced with a Child Custody case nightmare that started in the state of CT and ended in AZ. At the time I had to hire a CT attorney to get my children back into my custody after my children's father refused to return them back to me after Christmas break of 2014. I had to hire an AZ attorney out of Cochise County to get temporary orders stating I was the custodial parent as per AZ law because I was unmarried to the father of my children. I looked online on the AVVO site and found Randall "Randy" Bays. I had looked at other attorneys in the area but I went with my gut instincts that Randy was the best candidate. I decided to reach out to Randall P. Bays for assistance in the case and hired him as my attorney in AZ. He and my CT attorney exchanged information about the case and in one day Randy was able to get
Temporary Custody Orders from AZ to the CT
Court. Randy was 10 steps ahead of what had to be done because of his outstanding experience in Child Custody cases. His staff were very helpful in providing excellent communication with me by email and telephone on every detail throughout the whole
case. I was able to get my children back to AZ within 11 days during the back and forth process with the CT Court and Randy's involvement and dedication to my case. When we finally went to court here in AZ, Randy made sure everything would be fine and to not be nervous. In my opinion, this was a very difficult case and there is no case out there that Randy cannot handle and fight for you until the end. I still have issues about the case concerning the father of my children and his lawyers not following what the Judge ordered and decided and Randy is
still willing to help. Randy is very kind, thorough and understanding of the whole situation. He was also very patient with me given the situation. If you are looking for someone who is looking for your best interest and willing to actually listen to your needs and worries during a difficult situation this is the right attorney for you. He also provides you his contact information where he can be reached at all times unlike some attorneys who you’ll leave a voicemail for and never get a return phone call for sometimes one or two days which can be very frustrating. I would highly recommend attorney P. Randall Bays, Esq.

Paul Randall Bays was the worst attorney I have ever encountered in my life. He was completely rude and didn't care about my story or any of the facts that I had to say. He kept cutting me off, rolling his eyes while I spoke and just darn right rude. I would not recommend going to him. I would rather represent myself than have to deal with him for one more second. Paul can't say that I am going to win on a case if knows nothing about the case and doesn't care to know about it.

Mr. Bays represented us in a recent modification of custody case. From beginning to end, he was a strong champion for us. He has a knowledge and depth of the law, the court system, and the best tactics for a successful resolution to your case. He successfully negotiated an out of court settlement for us that was exactly what we wanted and we couldn't be more grateful.
It is helpful to any attorney to be organized, have a clear goal in line to give to them, and prepare any and all information and evidence for him to support your case in court or as leverage in negotiations.
We cannot think of another lawyer in the area with the stellar performance of Mr. Bays in the Cochise County area. He's worth every penny to have on your side and you definitely don't want to be representing the other party!
The only advise I would give is to proof read any documents from the assistance or secretary before clearing them to be filed.

I saw Mr. Bays on the day day I first went into his office looking for a divorce attorney. Over the following five months, I did not see him once, in spite of an attempt on my part at least three times to do so. The flow of information from his office was almost non-existant, and unless they needed copies of something, was initated by me. That's five months of virtual silence during one of the most stressful events in a pesrsons life. On the day of my divorce hearing, Mr. Bays did not even recognize me. My wife had made some modifications to our agreement at the eleventh hour. Of course, Mr. Bays did not catch it...I did. Mr. Bays' advice was to accept the changes, which cost me another $10K. He left me with the feeling he had somewhere better to be. In the end, he did nothing for me but file copies of pay stubs, and show up for the hearing. My wife's attorney? By all measures, she was everything you'd want in someone representing you...so there is at least one decent attorney in SV.

In January of this year, two sheriff deputies showed up on my doorstep to serve me with paperwork. My 7-year-old daughter’s horrible f. had filed for joint custody after over 5 years of total abandonment. Right away, I started looking for a lawyer and decided to hire Mr. Bays after reading his online reviews and meeting him in a free consultation.
His office (Debbie Cimino is great!!!) immediately filed a Petition for Termination of Parental Rights. It was a long grueling process and I was upset the whole time. Being a single parent, without a stepparent adoption in sight, I had my doubts as to whether or not Mr. Bays could deliver what he promised.
In the end, it was clear that I had definitely hired the right lawyer. Mr. Bays showed up to trial well prepared and had an excellent courtroom presence.
Today, October 14, 2014, I got the great news! We won the case. My ex’s parental rights are terminated, and he is still obligated to pay child support! I continue to have sole legal custody.
I would highly recommend Mr. Bays to any one in Cochise County seeking a family lawyer.
