In January of this year, two sheriff deputies showed up on my doorstep to serve me with paperwork. My 7-year-old daughter’s horrible f. had filed for joint custody after over 5 years of total abandonment. Right away, I started looking for a lawyer and decided to hire Mr. Bays after reading his online... reviews and meeting him in a free consultation. His office (Debbie Cimino is great!!!) immediately filed a Petition for Termination of Parental Rights. It was a long grueling process and I was upset the whole time. Being a single parent, without a stepparent adoption in sight, I had my doubts as to whether or not Mr. Bays could deliver what he promised. In the end, it was clear that I had definitely hired the right lawyer. Mr. Bays showed up to trial well prepared and had an excellent courtroom presence. Today, October 14, 2014, I got the great news! We won the case. My ex’s parental rights are terminated, and he is still obligated to pay child support! I continue to have sole legal custody. I would highly recommend Mr. Bays to any one in Cochise County seeking a family lawyer.

Less than 2% of fathers are awarded sole legal and physical custody of their children in the western part of the United States. Prior to retaining Randy I had conferred with approximately six other attorneys before speaking to Mr. Bays. All my previous consultations resulted in the attorneys' recomme...ndations as not very favorable for me. Absolutely the best. He WILL DELIVER what he promises. Very reasonable one-time fee and financially ethical. A very no-nonsense lawyer and very straightforward. If you are looking for a lawyer who will agree with whatever you say, just to please you or someone who will make impractical promises to... get your business, he is not your guy. But if you are looking for justice, he will fight tooth and nail to get it for you. Eloquent in court, thorough and always well prepared. Great office staff. I went to him since my time with my kids was being restricted endlessly and i was tired of being at the mercy of my ex-wife. he got me alternate weekends, half of all the vacations and extended weekends, very reasonable child support (less that what i was already spending on my kids voluntarily before the case) and joint legal custody. In short, everything that i wanted and felt was fair. Hiring him was the best thing that could have happened to me. NOT a lawyer you want in the other camp. Hire him and you won't regret him.
