Excellent legal representation of divorce case

Carlie is a very friendly lady who was EXPERT in handling my divorce case. I have no minor children, so it was a case of dividing assets, medical bills, retirement, spousal support, back taxes. Because I have been on a very fixed income, she was able to secure funds from my ex to cover my legal expen...ses and because he dropped me from health insurance coverage, the judge ordered him to pay half of any medical expenses I endured. She was steadfast in making sure I was represented well at trial. We were able to negotiate outside of court and everything went smoothly before the judge. At this writing, my ex has not paid as agreed and will be in contempt as of tomorrow, 9/5 and Carlie has told me that she will act and file contempt of court and he can face the judge and possibly end up in jail if he doesn't pay and meet his obligations. I would say that if you need family legal representation, someone who will really go to bat for you, someone who has a level head, someone who doesn't take no for an answer, someone who is educated and quick on her feet, then Carlie Owsley Walker is the gal for you. She has a friendly group of staff members who are also educated and can quickly answer questions and they are also very supportive. I came into the office one day so frazzled and two of the gals came to my side and encouraged me and said everything was going to work out and be okay. How many legal firms do you know who have people like that? The above question asks...Would you recommend this attorney? How can a simple Yes toggle be sufficient where Carlie is concerned? It's not, so I have taken the time to personally write this review in hopes that you will see that the stigma of lawyers being crooked and just out for money is not always true. Carlie took my case with 800 bucks down because that's all I had. She and her office staff work out payment arrangements and to keep costs to a minimum oftentimes the staff can answer questions and it not be charged out of the retainer. Now that you've read this review, you know you don't have to read through scores of other reviews about other attorneys. If you're in a jam and need help now, do yourself a favor and give Carlie's office a call. You WILL NOT be sorry! I wish any of you who are going through the frustrations of legal family matters all the best!

Highly recommended attorney

I cannot begin to describe how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to work with Carlie on my case. She took on a very complicated case after another attorney had missed deadlines and almost lost my case for me. The experience and expertise Carlie applied to my case was invaluable. She went o...ver and above to make sure I could relax and trust her to handle very difficult opposing counsel. I told Carlie at one point I was nervous about her being late to court as my previous attorney was late and she assured me she would be on time and was actually there to represent me over an hour early. She really got to know me personally and gave me excellent advice. She was able in court to really sort through 2 years of information to really summarize the important issues and present them in a very clear and concise manner. Carlie is extremely intelligent and knows family law. She is able to think very quickly which makes her invaluable in court. Carlie is personable and communicates clearly. Carlie communicated via e.mail with me evenings, weekends and really anytime I needed to just keep focused she was available within a reasonable amount of time. I cannot imagine going through the ordeal of court where so much is at stake without Carlie sitting beside me.

THE BEST

I hired Carlie in 2010 for my divorce and child custody/support case. She did an outstanding job, she was ready for anything and everything was thrown are way. I then had to use her again in 2013 for the my child support enforcement/ modification case. She was right on in court, she was ready and wil...ling to go the extra mile to see that my children got what they deserve from their dead beat dad. She and her staff are there for me when ever I need a question answered. I would totally recommend Carlie for any case. I have referred my friends and they have noting but good thing to say. I am happy to have meet Carlie and will continue to refer my friends to her.

A Joy to Work With!

I hired Carlie to modify my court orders; child support, visitation etc. From the very beginning Carlie was beyond caring and concerned for the well being of my son. Carlie was always quick to respond to any email or phone call, even if it was just one of the mom to a mom emails with normal daily wor...ries. Post judgement Carlie has followed up with me about future needs, and as well to see how the new court orders are working out for our family. I do plan to use Carlie in the near future for some additional tweaking of our court orders. She worked very hard on my case even through an office location change, and what I know a very busy solo practice. Carlie was a distance from my home in Gilbert, but she was always willing to meet me part way for my convenience. I loved having Carlie on my side of the court room.

I am extremely satisfied with Carlie.

I hired Carlie for a post divorce custody case. I was looking at the possibility of my son being relocated out of state. Carlie did an amazing job of seeing through the other side's lies and deceptions as well as building a case against their claims. She handled herself in a very professional manner ...and was very agressive without being hostile or nasty. Carlie invested herself emotionally in the case, which I have never seen an Attorney do before. During the hearing, I felt quite confident and relaxed with her br my side. I can't honestly say there were no hick-ups along the way, there always are, however I highly reccomend the services that Carlie Walker provides.

Admonition and Probation issued in AZ, 2016

updated on 12/12/2023

An admonishment means the attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. While on probation, the State monitors the attorney's activities for a period of time in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
